not that it imoral. I expect that from Fox, but my Beef...Beefs is this

1) They ask then the questions BEFORE the show. And then reask. Not only does it kill thier surprise but If you smart (which clearly there not) you would see those coming. You would know which one you lied to and behave accordingly. If you know you lied say 10 times, you may thens stop after the 2nd round. Like if you know a question is "Did I ever kill a Hooker" changes are you will bow our early if you in fact killed a hooker

2) Some of the Question are SUBJECTIVE. Are you a good person, Do you think your having enough sex, Do you think there a truth about you that may hurt your spouse, yadda yadda. Those answers can change in your head from day to day. You may be lieing to yourself, you may really think a certain thing enough to pass but its untrue. You may be self Loathing and really are a good person. You may just not be sure. There no answer that say "Dont know" and that may affect the lie detector. That a reason why they dont ask subjective questions in lie detector. It either questions like "Did you streal the drugs or not"

3) They had a lie detector show before, but there acting like its new

4) They clearly research these people. Where it seem rigged. I dont think anyone won let

5) some Question clearly just to get the person in trouble where it no good answers. Like "Have you ever thought of banging someone else or tempted". Of course you have

The contestants don't know the results beforehand, tho'. Someone could have answered the question "Do you think your Mother is ugly" as "no" without thinking they're lying, but the polygraph may reveal, during taping, that they actually do find their mother ugly. It's not so easy as you're describing, you may know what questions are coming but you may not know if you answered the questions 100% truthfully.

2) Some of the Question are SUBJECTIVE. Are you a good person, Do you think your having enough sex, Do you think there a truth about you that may hurt your spouse, yadda yadda. They probably only use questions that resulted in more or less definitive answers, I doubt they want to get into a debate about the polygraph itself. So while some of the questions may be subjective, if someone got a 100% TRUE reading on "Are you a good person", there's no reason for them not to use it no matter how subjective it comes off.

3) They had a lie detector show before, but there acting like its new
How exactly are they doing that?

[4) They clearly research these people. Where it seem rigged. I dont think anyone won let
There's been what, 4 or 5 episodes so far? Isn't that a bit anxious to expect someone to have made it all the way already?

If you want little to no research, go watch The Price Is Right. You can't expect a show that goes into this much personal depth not to do any research, that's ridiculous. If you wish the show was more spontaneous I understand, but just because they're going into it with an expected level of preparation doesn't necessarily make it "rigged".

5) some Question clearly just to get the person in trouble where it no good answers. Like "Have you ever thought of banging someone else or tempted". Of course you have
Well yeah, that's the point. How much of yourself are you willing to let be exposed in order to win money, and how honest can you be with the answers? They can't all be "did you ever steal a grape from the supermarket" type questions, who would want to tune in for that?

oh and the constant LOOOOOOOONG dramatic pauses to stretch it out.
How many in-studio primetime game shows don't do this? It's not like they created it, blame Who Wants To be A Millionaire.

As my friend said, the biggest problem with this show is that the people watching it believe that lie detectors can actually detect lies and they will some day be on a jury.

As my friend said, the biggest problem with this show is that the people watching it believe that lie detectors can actually detect lies and they will some day be on a jury.
My main problem is the often questionable scruples in the audience.

"Have you ever cheated on your husband/wife?"
"Yes."
"That answer is...true."
*cue audience applause*

Hey, they admitted it, so let's cheer! The contestant cheated on someone, but they also made it to the next question, so woohoo!

I realize that confessions can be liberating, but the audience seems to cheer no matter how morally bankrupt the contestant is. But hey, it's trash TV, so you can't say it's unexpected.

They do dramtic pause most more often then others show dont

Sometime it take them like 20 minuts to get through a couple of quesitons. Least other shows has a funny comedian to fill in filler

Also wouldnt you explantionf my no 1 complaint, only makes my no 2 complaint STRONGER.

Really reread it and you will notice that.

Here its not, ALWAYS a long pause between before they they reveal its a truth, even the simple questions that doenst have that much tension in them

That and think people still wanted the her to fail

Which is why the ARE YOU A GOOD PERSON quesiton was put AFTER the the other bad question where she said she a cheater. Sense they knew she failed that Question. Otherwise it a pretty simple question without those answers

So people wont see this cheater walk away with money. Cause really after you admited to cheating on your Husand what other bads things could they possibly have, that small in comparrison

"Now they can say HA...GOTS YOU...you ruin your marraige AND your coming away with NOTHING...SUCK IT!!!"

so it plays into both sides
People rooting for her to get greedy money
and people simply wanting vengenge on the cheating wife

I like the show, the one chick basically went on and admitted she was a skank, cheating on her husband etc.

It doesn't get any better than that. Chick was almost proud of it.

They do it when we're waiting to see if their answer is correct, just like any other game show. Waiting to see if the answer is right on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, pause. Waiting for the model to open the case on Deal Or No Deal, pause. It's a pain in the arse, but everyone does it. Like I said, this show doesn't seem to abuse it any more than any other primetime game show.

Also wouldnt you explantionf my no 1 complaint, only makes my no 2 complaint STRONGER.

Not sure what you're trying to say here. If you're saying my explanation for your #1 complaint bolsters your #2 complaint, I just think that's what makes some of them tough questions to answer, as it should.

You can't expect them to ask completely straightforward questions for the entire show, anyone could walk away with all the money every episode just by telling the absolute truth, and the only price they pay is possibly looking like a jerk on national television. I don't think the questions you're talking about are so much subjective as much as they are just plain tougher to answer because it hinges on what the contestant believes about others or themselves, not anything specific that actually happened. That's just part of the game.

They ask them the questions before the show. The contestant may not know exactly which questions have been selected, but it's not like they're being blindsided. If their opinion of themselves or others changes between off stage and on or even between questions, that's a risk they take and their own problem. They have the opportunity to stop or continue. There's supposed to be a progression in difficulty as the game continues, that's only natural.

I bet if you compare the number of Question answers in the same amount of time to other shows, This show will have less answers, cause they do pause a lot more

I watch millonare, and are you smarte then a 5th grader. And it moves faster, and the host of those shows seem to know how to keep things moving and lively even in the slow moments

But the trash is the only thing entertaining about the show, but I like laughing at other peoples expense, so I'm not really a good judge. Good to see you BTW. Haven't seen you around for awhile.

It's kind of a one-note show. And it is about stress factors. Even if a guy isn't cheating, being in front of his family, random audience and a whole bunch of TV viewers can make you nervous. Pausing for 2 minutes after asking every question can do it too.

Wouldn't being on TV and being nervous set off the polygraph?

The show is evil and should not be watched otherwise there will be more shows just like it next year.

America is the land of debutchery. They'll be more shows like it if it gets high ratings or not. I don't see the trend ending anytime soon.

oh and the constant LOOOOOOOONG dramatic pauses to stretch it out.

This is the main problem.

Also, when they moved it to Monday for like...no apparent reason, my DVR didn't seem to follow it.

I also think the fact that questions were asked beforehand sets of a few lights during the course of the game, yet a lot of interesting reveals still occur.

Money > shame, and people seem to realize this.

Which is good.

The host is dull.

The rules are constantly repeated.

The pauses are painfully long.

It seemes we never get past 5-6 questions an episode.
