Man,
They are really trying to delaying the Runaways reboot. :(
Also New Warriors are involve, I mean I can understand She-Hulk and Black Panther, but NEw Warriors I think I can understand alittle with their current arc. :p
All together it seems that it just MS. Marvel and the Avengers titles along with other Marvel titles involve in the event so far. :o
Also it seems that X-factor get involved, when Marvel stated that there is no X-title tie into Secret Invasion. :(

that means NW is good at least until 14, so much for people saying its gonna get canceled.
will there be more SI titles for August? I wonder if NW's involvement is just for 1 issue?
now I wonder which warrior is the skrull, will they go for one of the more popluar characters like Sophia, Jubes or Jono or even Thrash himself?!

Yeah, Secret Invasion is an 8 issue mini. Marvel just hasn't released anything past July.
Bandit/Thrasher has been very mysterious as of late. Especially as of last issue.
Though I think he may actually know about the Skrulls, not be one of them. We'll see.

X-factor? That caught me off-guard. Wonder why they would be involved.
Could Guido be a skrull? Or some other member? Maybe Madrox impregnated a skrull. That would rock. (Doubt that any of them are skrulls, maybe they have to investigate a skrull outbreak in mutant town or something)
Young Avenger

Yeah, I was surprised to see that also. One of the chief reasons I started the thread. ;)
I'm thinking that Monet is a Skrull. I was reading through her history and it's a mess. Or maybe Layla has something to do something with the Skrulls. I remember way back in issue #6 Layla said she'll be struck down if she explained the nature of powers. She could be acting as their agent without realizing it.

Was at Newsarama and just saw a post by the writer of Nw Warriors.
-will NW be affected by your working on Underworld 3? will it go on hiatus or get a guest writer?
No. I'm still writing from New Zealand where we're shooting the 3rd film.
-What made you decide to change Angel's personality from her original more bitchier, cruder one to the newer more pleasant one?
In my mind, that personality didn't come across well with the evolution of the character in terms of being a mother, her and her husband losing their powers AND being part of a new super-team on the run from the authorities. Let her grow and become something else other than what she was. I felt the same way about Jubilee becoming more aggressive after all that she had been through. She's not a bubble gum-blowing kid anymore. She's coming into her adulthood.
-I was also going to ask if NW would be involved in Secret Invasion but I just found out on another forum that issue 14 is in the SI check list released in last week Marvel Previews, so looks like we will finally see them take part in a grander Marvel U event.
Yes they will and we have a BIG surprise for everyone!
and about issue 9 itself just want to thank you for the Jubes/Jono interaction! I wish "Gen X" could have been named dropped somewhere but I understand how that could have confused newer readers. Just seeing those 2 together again like old times was sooo nice!
Thanks!

When CW started, I made it a trend to buy all the tie ins in an event. I was kind of disappointed by WWH (it just nedded the mini and the hulk ongoing and maybe something like frontline and it would be better), but I think I won't be disappointed by this.

Bemdis said that the Thunderbolts would play a part in Secret Invasion back when they first announced the cross over. It was the only non Avenger book that was part of the original line up. The fact that it is a Government sanctioned team would make them a priority target for the Skrulls, I think. I also think that X Factor get involved when one of Madrox's dupes will be revealed as a Skrull!

Lol. No. She's still with X-Factor.
The tie in with Captain Britain and MI:13 no doubt stems from past Skull Invasion attempts, in the UK. Back in the late 60s four Skrulls were sent to Earth to take the place of The Beatles - through which they intended to get a foothold in popular culture. The attempt failed, but the fours Skrulls remained on Earth, finding that the glamour of being almost celebrities, and looking like the biggest stars on the planet (at the time) could bring them a number of perks.
The Skrull who was intended to replace John Lennon has been working working with the British Government for quite some time, and is a member of MI:13. Obviously, in this particular invasion, there will be questions over where loyalties might lie.
It should make for a good story.
I won't be picking up the Captain Britain and MI:13.

Did I see Daredevil on the cover of MA #14? And did Bendis say that Thor and Caps books won't be insulated from the SI? It's a clue that the other books are not going to be exempt from all the goings on, and that's a change. If only that means the Knaufs Iron Man will get to be involved too.

I wonder since that list only goes until July and up to SI#4 if they left it open to throw other tie-ins based on the sales. I mean I didn't see a punisher, ghost rider, iron fist, hulk ties ins, but I bet if the sales add up they toss a couple in more or less something easy liek punisher like CW did. I'd really like to see Omega flight or at least the characters from that group get involved. Canada has some heroes (not all native) but I'm sure US agent would like to help out. And I need to see Beta Ray Bill more, I thought will thor comming back he might make an apperance, but alas nothing.

Yep, its a mini called Secret Invasion: X-Men, written by Mike Carey with art by Cary Nord and Nightcrawler is supposed to play a big part.
there is also a marvel spotlight secret Invasion in june

I'm really hoping the Inhuman's Secret Invasion stuff helps explain where silent war fits into everything, I really loved that mini.

No problem. I was on wikipedia and noticed there was a big slew of tie-ins and then remembered this thread. Also I forget which panel it was in but they said (I think at least) that starting in June with Avengers: The Initiative #14 would begin a six-issue secret invasion tie-in arc. I'd need someone to confirm that though.

More stuff to add (from the NYCC panels):
1. There will be an ASM arc for one month tie-ing into secret invasion.... it didn't say what month.
2. Deadpool #1-3, starts in September ends in November, released once a month.
3. Both New Avengers and Mighty Avengers once-a-month comics will tie in until it's done, which makes that 12-19 (Mighty Avengers, starting in April ending in November) and up to #47 I believe with NA

Did the Punisher have tie-ins in Disassembled, Civil War, or World War Hulk?

There wasn't an ongoing all-ages Punisher book when Disassembled happened.
War Journal tied in with Civil War and WWH.

So, the first New Avengers and Mighty Avengers tie-in, what's the verdict? Good or bad so far?
I liked both, I'll continue getting those tie-ins.

I liked them both, but was a little upset that we didn't get to actually see the avengers. The information was great in both stories, but I think they could have made them both one shots or a double sized one shot.
Jobies, whats your opinion about other tie ins. More specifically Nova and the GOG? Also are you interested in seeing anyone like moonknight or daredevil get a few tie ins

Both of those are passes for me. I'd really like to see some Daredevil tie ins, I mean he's involved somehow (New Avengers #39).
Other's I'd like to see:
Ghost Rider (maybe he has one, I don't think so though)
She-Hulk (only one is announced)
What's everyone thinking about getting?
I'm going with New Avengers, Mighty Avenger, Avenger: The Initiative, She-Hulk (all of which I already buy) and all the Secret Invasion: ____ books.

I already get all of the tie-ins already except a few, but I'll prolly pick them up as well just to see whats going on. Ghost rider could be a good tie-in I think especialy if the real rider went toe to toe with a dupe.
As of DD role with avengers, thats cool but I hope we see am offical issue of his dealing with Hell's kitchen maybe a Kingpin clone.
I need to see a punisher tie in. If RA/YA is getting some action (not that I don't like that title) then he should.
I'd also like to see
- Moonknight,
-Omega Flight (with beta ray bill),
-Clandestine (I don't know why, but I'm really enjoying the new mini)
-Captains America's title ( I know he'll have a role, but I want his title to have at least one full issue)
New Exiles (there was a variant cover with sabertooth's face half skrulled)
and a bunch more. What do you think?

I'll be honest I'm amazed that his titles haven't tied in from the start. As of now Iron Man DoS and ... The other one (name escapes me)...aren't in it at all. But you know, you would think a book called "Director of SHIELD" might be of some importance to a friggin invasion.
