It's more information gathering this issue as Jodi kidnaps her father, Mark Slayton - Backlash I, while Savant and Nemesis invade Department PSI. We get a good background of the Backlash I character. Nemesis narrows the list of missing heroes down to three (wasnt' sure who but thought they looked like Bendix, Craven and someone else?).
The issue weirdly ends with Zealot and Grifter confronting the Trio? Where are the rest of the Wildcats?
I don't have any interest in the Paladins, but there's a small sneak peak.
The Good:
Character moments and playing up to everyone's strengths (Savant taking the Psi-lancers on a world-wide goose chase; Nemesis cutting through their ranks).
Backlash I really plays up the strength of the potential bad guys, "If the forces I'm talking about could make an entire generation of heroes... vanish...what do you think they would do to you..."
The Okay: Craig's artwork is really starting to grow on me, but I need an oldstyle Image splash page of the Trio. Grifter, Zealot's, Savant's costumes are awesome.
The Bad: Nothing. It was all good.
