I'm a big fan of Angewomon and MagnaAngemon, along with LadyDevimon, for Ultimate-level Digimon. Plus, Angewomon and LadyDevimon are so fun to slash together. Lesbian Foe Yay for the win.

As for Megas, I'm a huge fan of WarGreymon, BlackWarGreymon, Gallantmon, Sakuyamon, and Justimon.

For armored digivolutions, I'm rather into Flamedramon. He's the best. But that's because I like fire and I like stuff that burns.

Armors:
Magnamon- Looks awesome, even acts awesome and is capable of lightspeed
Magnamon X- Same as magnamon but tougher and better armor
Allomon- Pretty cool and new generation i believe
Rinkmon- Near-lightspeed acceleration ftw!

Hybrids:
Strabimon, Duskmon, and Susanoomon

If I had to pick my #1 favorite Digimon of all time, it would be the single greatest Digimon the franchise had and will ever have: Omnimon

Personally, I dislike "Data Squad" as a whole, and don't find the main Digimon to be anything but dull and tools.

And i didnt like the fact that the digimon were overly huge. Also, Belphemon should've been more impressive then he actually shown in data squad.

I hope they make another season. Maybe they will give grandracmon some screen time.:D

Favorite Digimon for me is Impmon, and his ultimate for beelzamon is my favorite ultimate. I don't remember much about forms so I put whatever I remember.

Falcomon, Lalamon, and Agumon at least have clearly defined personalities over their Adventure counterparts. Adventure Agumon is just... helpful and heroic. Yawn.

As for Gaomon, maybe you could call him one note. If you watched only part of the show.

Every series portrays the things differently. Besides, Masaru is older AND taller than Taichi. If they were the same size he'd go up to Masaru's KNEE.

And I completely prefer s1 Agumon over Data Squad Agumon. He's more, shall I say, 'adorable', he has cooler Digivolutions, his voice is cool(not whiny and nasally), and he tried to be more of a friend to Tai, while s5 Agumon acts like Marcus' bitch.

You have GOT to be kidding. Myotismon and the Dark Masters were the friggin' bomb! Myotismon was terrifying, manipulative, violent, and just plain badass.

And the Dark Masters were just amazingness personified. Metalseadramon was hardcore(firs time he attacked the Digidestined, I almost shat myself), Puppetmon was twistedly entertaining in a Joker kind of way, Machinedramon was a hardcore war machine that was enormous and awesome in every way, and Piedmon turned the Digidestined into keychains! And the puppet show he did? Creepy as hell.

Vamdemon/Myotismon - Motivation? Has none. He's typical evil for evil's sake. He abuses his minions. Why? Because he's evil. He kills DemiDevimon. Why? Because he's evil. He kicks ass and takes names in fights, but only to prolong the arc. He has no real character.

The Dark Masters? A little better because Piedmon and Puppetmon at least have personality quirks. MetalSeadramon? Bleh. Machinedramon? Has a cool voice at least.

Kurata? Has motivation. He's not some dark heart of evil spawned from the shadowy ether. He's the way he is because he started out genuinely hateful and scared of creatures, and lived to satisfy his own ego. He manipulates and plots, turns digimon into twisted monsters and kills the parental figure of a main character. He bends an incredibly powerful digimon to his will and then takes on the heroes himself.

See, I saw them as separate beings, all holding their own responsibilities.

You saw them as that, but in the end, they're total cyphers. Agumon and Masaru at least EARNED their friendship in the first fight by fighting. Agumon NEVER does anything apart from Tai, with the exception of that plot with BlackWarGreymon that was either dropped or focused on VERY LITTLE.

Yes, Agumon and Masaru do have a different kind of relationship, but saying he's his bitch? There are times that they argue or Agumon shows an opinion of his own. Their relationship gets rocky. Sometimes its up to Agumon to do something or Masaru is wrong.

Tai and Agumon? They're friendly friends all the time come what may tried and true.

01 digimon aren't distinct personalities, they're CIPHERS.

Metalseadramon rocked because he was so damn violent and badass, and didn't go to the obvious villains cliches. Instead of saying "I want to taunt the Digidestined", he wanted to flat out murder then. And instead of giving his minions a thousand chances, if they screwed up once, they were done.
Machinedramon was in a similar fashion, but far more evil and scary. ANDROMON couldn't stop him! In Adventure, that meant a lot, and made Machinedramon even freakier.

Dude, this is an action series. It's full of things coming around and smacking other things around. And there's also a lot of characters who dark evil and power hungry. You need SOMETHING to distinctify a good villain, like characterization and shit. Showing up and basically being "cool" just isn't enough, it's only part of what makes a character like this worthwhile.

Look at season 4. Cherubimon. He's actually tortured and envious and driven to do the things he does by actual problems. Lucemon has a god complex in addition to all his power.

They have and do all of the things that you say makes Myotismon and the Dark Masters cool, but they have REASONS. They have CHARACTERIZATION.
