I really enjoyed it. As far as a mini-series is concerned, it does very well in delivering a story with plenty of action, interesting characters, and a few decent twists thrown in.
The TPB has quite a few pages of extras in the dossier of characters. The dossier includes art by several different people including Brian Michael Bendis, Bill Sienkiewicz, Quietly, Queseda, Jae Lee, etc.
For $20, it is a pretty good deal. I don't pick it back up as often as something like Rising Stars or Watchmen but it definitely made a good impression on me.

The first five issues are absolutely great. It's only let down by the final issue.
(And I don't mean the last page. I liked the last page. It was the 21 pages before that.)
I liked the series. It's not your ordinary type of series, but it was a good story with some really excellent art.

Read the book.
If you've seen the film's trailer, I gaurantee you, the book is much much <looks left, looks right> much better.
Hollywood's got the CIA on their side.

The concept is fun enough and the art is great but it's on the shallow side. The Wanted guest appearance in Savage Dragon is pretty awesome though.

I picked up all the issues, and read it..once..then boxed it. Then sent to a friend in Canada. It wasn't bad to me, just one of those books that I would never have read again. I would recommend finding it in a library somewhere and reading it, and if you like it then go buy it.

It's well worth reading, just like anything else by Millar.

I second this. It was a good story once, and some of the lines are really funny (like Mr. Rictus and the goats) but it wasn't something I'd want to go back to again later.

It's a good fast read with awesomely detailed artwork.
Get it, it'll be fun reading it then watching the movie and picking out what parts Hollywood f*%#ed up.

The art is good. (of course it is, it is jg jones). Everything else is terrible. Incredibly juvenile, ugly and repugnant. It reads like some 14 year old who was mad at his parents and his councilor wrote it when he was sent to his room, or maybe during his in-school suspension time, and somehow got this amazingly talented artist to draw it for God knows why. Millar scripts good action scenes, but even those do not redeem this awful, juvenile wankfest.
