Probably Cate Blanchett's villain in Indiana Jones. Also looking forward to Heath Ledger's Joker, as well as the latest Bond villain, although I haven't heard of the actor.

Rumors say Al Pacino will play the Big Boss, who is ultimately Bond's arch nemesis.

1. Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two-Face
2. Heath Ledger as Joker
3. Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stane/Iron Monger

Those are my "big three." Also looking forward to Cillian Murphy reprising his role as Scarecrow and the Bond movie villains.

No William B. Davis as the Cigarette-Smoking Man in that X-Files sequel? Bah; pass.

Yeah but wasn't William B. Davis blown to smithereens on the last , horrid, rancid episode of the show?

What's the time period that this X-Files sequel is set in? As in, does it take place after said horrid last episode of the series or before? I thought the sequel was about Mulder & Scully investigating an X-Files case, which would mean that they would presumably still be FBI agents assigned to the X-Files and hence the movie is set before the series ended. Admittedly, I could be way off-base on that, as I really haven't read all that much about the X-Files sequel.

I believe it takes place after.

I can't for the life of me remember what happened in the last episode of the X-Files. They had a kid right?

Basically they were told colonization would begin on 12/23/2012 and they have until that day to stop it. Plus, Smoking Man was living like a Native American or some such nonsense, and was blown up. I think that is what went down. It is still the most dissapointing series finale ever....cause it wasn't, uhm finale. I have only seen that episode once, and I've tried to forget it.

And the movie is set after the series.

You and me both; that was such a terrible series finale. And yes, that's pretty much what happened. CSM took the business end of a Blackhawk helicopter missile, Mulder & Scully were also believed killed in the explosion but they escaped and hid out in a hotel in Roswell.

And the movie is set after the series.

Huh. So they're just investigating whatever the mystery is on their own, Scooby Doo-like, and not affiliated with the FBI, then?

It also seems the FBI agents in this one are being played by Amanda Peet and Xzibit. But it also seems Mulder and Scully are FBI agents as well in the movie from what I've seen. I'm sure there will be some sort of explination.

Oh, OK; thanks for the info.

Sorry to derail this thread with my X-Files questions. When talking about anticipated movie villains, I should have also listed Luke Goss (Nomak from Blade 2) as Nuada, the bad guy for the upcoming Hellboy: The Golden Army.
