I don't have any more recent photo's, but essentially everything is done except for the background around liz and hellboy.
We also snuck Von klempt (sans swastika) on the inside of my wrist.
More pics to come.

Awesome. A true fan. Beautiful work. Nice to see the artist used his own style and just didn't do a straight rip from Mike.

Nice way to work the bprd symbol into the elbow!
And I like the flow of the characters around the arm. It really takes advantage of the "canvas" to give it a lot of movement and animation.

Damn, man, that is badass! Who's your tattoo artist? I'm sure he'd love to have that on his online portfolio, and I wouldn't mind seein' some of the other stuff he's done considering how good that one is.

DAG. That's awesome. I am thinking of getting the BPRD logo on my shoulder. Good move IMO putting Von Klempt on there without his forehead decoration. People would get the wrong idea. So about how much time in the chair did you have to spend total so far?

Thanks for all the kind comments, it's my most prized tattoo to date.
To answer a few questions:
My buddies name is Tony Sklepic and he owns and operates his tattoo shop Archangel Custom Tattoo here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
His site is here: http://www.archangeltattoo.com/index.html But unfortunately he doesn't update his portfolio that often so if you want to see a very up to date collection of tattoo and art and you have facebook, check him out here: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=544436350
He is one of the best Tattoo artists in the city and by far one of the best comic style artists I have ever seen.
Total time spent in the chair is.....I don't really know lol. If I had to take a guess, i would put it at somewhere around....a little over 20 hours so far?
And as for time left till completetion...Well, we still need to color liz's face and hair and get the background around liz, HB, and the corpse but once that's done he's got lots of touch-ups to do (i am a bit of a rough healer) and he has to go over all the black background and johanns ecto-plasm again to make them more solid so if i had to guess....i'd say another 10 or so hours left to go.

Really nice! Great color, nice representation all around.

:) That's what i was thinking. The only tat i ever considered getting was a Scud one, and only about less than a quarter size of that one! You've got some on ya man! ;)

Wow! As a fan of both tattoos and Hellboy, I really am impressed. My only criticism would have been Johann's ectoplasm, but since that is one of the thing that is left to finish, it is perfection. I especially love the coloring of Hellboy's coat and Johann's suit. The placement is also excellent.

Folks I'm brand new to the forum and after a bit of wandering came across this thread. Wow! Beautiful dedication. I've seen something similar before with Hulk too.
