I never read this mini proper or any of the tie-in's and I was wondering if anyone found anything that made them rub their chin.

I don't read many theories coming from this mini as I do Secret War, Disassembled, or Civil War.

It's not a retcon. It's active continuity. It just changed things on a fundamental level. But I can't think of any old continuity that it changed.
