OK, does anyone know if the BPRD shirt that the variant HB figure is wearing is removable? I'd like to move it to a Mezco Comic HB.
sorry,bud.it's painted on:( ;)

You could always try that one.
It's for the 10" animated toy so it'd need some trimming to fit a 7" hellboy.

Or maybe something a bit more tropical.

lol. I will try the animated one. I can just cut a little bit off the bottom of it. Most of the bulk will be hidden under his trench. Maybe I should take it in along the back? We'll see. That shirt is on the way. :evilsmile

Where on earth did you find a Tad Doll, Rick???
Everyone knows that HB loves a good Hawaiian shirt!
I've always loved that sketch Tad...speaking of babysitting..did everything turn out okay after your turn-around trip from S.F.?

Back in July of 2006 I started a thread on this topic here: http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=132116
In summary: I took the cover art from the Hellboy RPG sourcebook, tweaked it in photoshop and printed it out and taped it on my comic Hellboy with coat. Check the thread (and scroll down for a picture).
I was very pleased with the results.
If you do this please post a picture here or in that thread. Thanks!

I'm basically going to do the same thing, but with the cloth shirt for the roto-cast figure. Cut it up so it looks like that paper shirt, and have it attach by velcro.

ok, so after some consideration, decided to go with the paper shirt method. That cloth one is too damned expensive, and it only has the logo, not BPRD on it. So here are the results:

Looks good! I cut a hole out of my shirt towards the top to match the sourcebook. I'm not sure if you didn't notice that or if you chose not to. Just a heads up!
I'll have to design me up a hawiian shirt with skulls and tenticals. kool.

Don't forget the straw hat!

I actually used your exact same pattern, without the hole, cause I wanted mine to be just a lil different, you know? Hey, think you can design one thats front and back for Comic Abe?

Hmm. Not a bad idea. Does he ever actually wear one? If so, what story?
It would help to ave some reference.

In the Rick Cortes thread, there's a cool shot of him wearing one. It's a short sleeve shirt tho, not a tank top like this one. Maybe if we took a plain black shirt, like from a WWE figure, and then printed out the logo and BPRD on iron on transfer paper, then transfer it onto the shirt. Whatcha think?

Sounds like it would work. It's beyond what I'm willing to do though. Good luck!
