Apparently, Barack isn't the only one who can "borrow" someone else's line....

You won't be saying that when the movie comes out.

There's a movie? You mean: not the one when cobra commander turns into a human snake?

No, I mean starring Dennis Quaid as Hawk, and the dude from that dancing movie a year or two ago as Duke.
You're going to laugh when you find out about Cobra Commander.

Could it really be any worse than the recent Transformer's movie?

Yes. I actually liked a good chunk of Transformers. Yeah, crap was changed, but at the end of the day, you had cars turning into giant robots and beating the crap out of other giant robots. I didn't really expect anything more.
With GI Joe, you kind of lose that fantastical hook. You've just got a bunch of military types fighting a terrorist organization with no real ideals beyond a loose concept of world domination. Now keep in mind, I say this as someone who prefers the Steve Gerber-run cartoons to Transformers, but there's less of a reason to make it live action. I know what soldiers look like in real life. As opposed to cars that turn into giant robots.

Did you ever see the Masters of the Universe--I swear to Bob that they edited the video rental to make it seem like less crappy Dolph.
"But I have to!"
