Make a show that can survive the Friday night deathslot

alright a long time ago I friday night tv was actually able to survive.

what happened and is it possible to create a show that actually can survive.

if so what would it take?

Basically, appeal to the older demographic who stays at home on Sunday nights.

CBS had it right--shows like Touched by an Angel were perfect for this.

(Smackdown and Ghost Whisperer both do well on Friday nights)

I'd basically go after family type dramas.

NFL Friday night football.

Shows for old folks.

Other than that I see nothing that can easily survive on regular network TV on Fridays.

Or at the very least a large number of topless women.

I'm kind of upset that FOX never ended up in this direction.
