I have not checked this out yet. Is it worth trying. What issues did he write?

He started on #663 and it's now up to #673.
I enjoy Morrison's Batman. I feel he really gets him and it comes off a bit darker to me. That's the way I like my Batman. :)

Morrison actually started with #655, though #659-662 had a fill-in story arc by John Ostrander.
The Batman and Son hardcover collects #655-658 and #663-666.

It's not my cup of tea -- loved his Batman in JLA, but I just don't care about Damian Wayne or the "League of Batmen" or anything -- but as with most Morrison stuff, lots of people seem to groove on it.
Personally, I'd recommend Dini's work on Detective Comics over Morrison on Batman. But that might just be me.

I like Morrisons's run on Batman he seems to have a good grasp on Batman

I'm not enjoying it at all. Which, being a huge Batman fan, is a big disapointment for me, as I can't really get into Dini's run either. I was really stoked during Face the Face and was ready for more awesome Bat stories, but they never came.

Dini's run is awesome, it's just like watching BTAS again.
Morrison's? It's...okay. I'm getting kind of sick of Grant's "I have to make everything different and weird" routine. It just seems like a lot of the time, he's just obscure for the sake of being obscure.
Some people dig it...not my cup of tea.

I actually agree with you on this, and I don't happen to like Morrison's stuff in general. One of the reasons I like Morrison's run is that he covers all aspects of Batman and Bruce Wayne. He just doesn't write Batman in costume 24/7 chasing down some nut. Unlike most of his other stuff, I find his Batman pretty straightforward. None of his 'weird for the sake of being weird'. Sure the stories have mystery to it, but I find nothing that outlandish.
