Top Cow Pilot Season Winners

Looks like Velocity and Cyblade are the winners. (http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=147336)

I only read the Velocity book but I enjoyed it. I think the combination of Casey and the character (who I thought had potential since the Busiek mini) might make for a fun book. I'm surprised it won because when I voted for it, it was dead last.

Anybody plan on checking out either of these books?

I belive the whole voting thing was rigged.Both Velocity and Cyblade were terrible issues and both were constantly being panned by fans all over the message boards.The Angelus book was way better than any of the rest,in fact it was the only good book out of that bunch.I was excited about the pilot season when I first heard about it but after three duds in a roll and then hearing that Aphrodite IX got canned I lost all interest.Also who made the final descision on what characters to use for these pilot books? Man they picked some of the worst characters why not pick Magdalana? Stryker? Ballistic? You know some of the more interesting and stronger characters,characters that could hold their own book.

Save your money and some brain cells and skip buying it.

The only one that I picked up was the VELOCITY one and that was purely for the Kevin Maguire art. I may be willing to give this book a chance once the artist is announced.

I'll be buying both books. Personally I would have liked Angelus or Necromancer instead of Cyblade, but I really like the TopCow characters so I'd try both series no matter which series had won.
