It's happening right now! If it's a clear sky where you are, go outside and watch the moon turn red.

The moon was unnaturally bright last night. I missed the redness though, was too busy rocking out. Wed nights are offically for rocking out now. Afterwards I did notice how bright the moon was though and I taunted it. Yeah thats right. You know what the moon did? Nothing. Chickensh*t moon didn't want to throwdown.

We lucked out and had a perfectly clear night. Spectacular!

I worked that night but stole a few quick looks. I love this kind of thing and have seen several lunar eclipses now. Some day I would really like to see a solar eclipse.

I recall when I was 15 and watching my first lunar eclipse while talking to my girlfriend on the phone. I don't think I was even paying attention to what she was saying. :)

And I saw a pretty good 3/4 solar eclipse when I was around 16. I lived in Perris which is basically the desert east of Los Angeles. It was probably about 95 degrees out. My brother and my Dad and I were outside waiting for it. I built one of those box things to safely view it with. (How did I do this without the internet?!?) It was pretty eerie when the amount of light dimmed noticeably and the temperature dropped some 10, 15 degrees. I cannot imagine what a full eclipse might be like.
