I take it that's you on the right?
you most certainly do not look like a cow.
in fact, you look rather slim, wearing a dark coat, and standing next to someone in white (who DOES appear rather heavy, since white isn't slimming).

Lol I'm the one in white. I take it you haven't seen the thread titled best pic I ever took. My brother is the one wearing his jacket. I guess I should say I'm not smiling well.

ah. . well, you said you weren't smiling.
what I said about the white shirt is true though.

The worst is an over statement. It's just that I was looking forward to getting pictures from the wedding and then I got them and I look bad in each and every one of them. One of my fave pics from when I was in grade school. I wore a members only jacket in my grade school photo even though my mom told me not to. How was I to know my mom would find out when I got the photos back?

There's probably worse ones of me out there - nude ones, no doubt - but the one which came to mind first is my graduation picture. In a gown I hated, after standing around in it for hours sweating, forced into an awkward sitting position with a horrible smile (really, I smile funny). And my hair was longer than I'd like as a favour to my mum.
Who repaid me by putting it in 2 local papers. People at work were pointing me out for a couple of weeks. Gah, I hate it. And I'm ever so fortunate that it isn't online.

It's amazing how much your clothes, glasses and hair cut has aged you in the pictures. You look like you're on the wrong side of middle age there, which I know isn't the case as you are in your mid twenties. If someone were to ask me I would put your age at 50 or more. You need to get rid of those glasses ASAP.

I'd always suspected Jim was an evil, child-endangering, drunk maniac. Now I know, he's just a really good dad. :p

For the record I'm saying that the picture makes SaintandSaucy look old, I'm not saying that he actually looks old.

Glasses completely alter the shape of your face. They can make you look older, younger, slimmer fatter, smarter dumber or a combination of all the attributes listed. Those glasses make you look like a middle aged office worker going through a midlife crisis/depression. Combined with your hair cut and dress and you look older than my dad. Again I'm insulting the glasses not you and that will be the last I say on the topic.

When I wanna be smart, I put my glasses on. :p

Well you could always pull a Grant Morrison and just buzz your hair (or as he went totally bald, just shave it). Men with thinning or bald hair should keep their hair _SHORT_ (shorter than even that pic) ... it does tend to make one look older if it is longer.
As far as weight that you can change. Start dieting and working out... I think the exercise and eventual change in your body would do wonders for your self image.
If you are looking for honest constructive critique... I'll have to say that Lester is right, the glasses may not be working in your favor. If you had a better pic I might be apt to say otherwise, but from the pic... yeah.
Seriously, try not to lament on what you hate about yourself, try to think of ways you can change negatives into positives.

As somebody who began loosing his hair at age 18 (just like my grandfather did) I can say she speaks the truth!
Don't be scared!
When I first thought about shaving my head, everybody told me I shouldn't because I would look horrible...except for one friend. She was like, "Do it! Do it! I double dog dare you!" Well, I shaved my head. Everybody who said I shouldn't shave it said I looked better.
The funny thing is that the woman who dared me to do it...next time I saw her was in a dark nightclub....took her half an hour to recognize me. She was really flirting with me.
