Firebreather sounds interesting. I only wish I read INVINCINBLE, so I'd have something to judge it by.

Am I the only one confused by the supposed "release dates" for Invincible?

We've not yet seen issues 48, 49, or 50, but somehow, issue 51 was due out today. What's going on?!  :evilangry

It's late, simple as that. That's why there's no Invincible solicited for May, so they can get back on track.

Monster Zoo
Amazing Joy Buzzards TPB

Things I'll probably get after a little research-
SUburban Glamour TPB
YoungBlood TPB

Things that make me say "Damn it, I picked the wrong time to start trade-waiting!"-
Firebreather
Gemini
Pretty Baby Machine
Wild Guard
'76
Wolf-Man
Dynamo 5
Elephant Men
Godland
Hawiian Dick
Infinite Horizon
Jack Staff (especially Jack Staff)
Mice Templar

The Revenant
The Sword
The Walking Dead

(Of course, that list should give you an idea why cutting back to just trades became necessary in the first place.)

I'm foregoing any other comics and selling my blood plasma until May so I can buy as many copies of Twilight Guardian #1 as possible... ;)

It's a fun book. If you can find the first trade and the oneshot secial I suggest you pick them up.

It is tough being the only person on CBR forums excited about the below:

SPAWN #182
story DAVID HINE
art & cover BRIAN HABERLIN

The end of Spawn. ‘Nuff said. JUNE 25 • 32 PAGES • FC • $2.95

...unfortunately 90% of the people in the world own Spawn #1 and bought an issue somewhere in the 20-30 range so they know everything the need to know about this book. Problem is 100% of those 90% are wrong about 1,000% of the time when it comes to this title (that should not confuse you anymore than I am confused by the lack of interest in this book).

...just my humble opinion :evilsmile

Is it finally coming to an end after all this time then? Gave up on this book somewhere just after issue 100 & had kind of forgotten it was still going.

Are they ever going to do another printing of Invincible Ultimate Collection volume 1? I keep hoping with every solicit that they will announce a new printing of it, and I keep being disappointed. That volume is the only one that I am missing, and it seems to be entirely difficult to get my hands on it.

The book really isn't coming to an end - but that is a funny comment. Sadly enough that is how many people have treated this book or the past 6 1/2 years but the book is better than ever. The last two issues for example may have been some of the best comics read in a long time (#174 & #175). Gunslinger Spawn from the 1800's shooting up an entire town. Great writing and incredible art.

Yeah, I'm shocked by how much I'm enjoying Spawn right now, it's really really good.

There we go ---> now if I can just get another 15,000 to 20,000 people to agree with you then I will be a happy man.

It just kills me to think people will pick up Youngblood Volume 9 Issue #3.

I tried the first 10 issues of the Spawn relaunch... It didn't work for me.

Casey and Donovan's Youngblood, however IS hitting the right notes for me.

different strokes for different folks.

(And I hope yours is an educated comment on Youngblood from at least reading the new first issue)

I appreciate the fact that you did pickup Spawn and give it a try. Yes I did check out Youngblood and it didn't work for me.

I'll definitely definitely pick Spawn: TBOTD up.

Also , i'll probably give Gemini a shot too 'cause JF is the one who made me have fun lately. Dynamo 5 and Noble Causes are monthlies as well.

Firebreather rocks too , heh.
