Anyone here know why Moore retains the copyright to this series but not to other ABC properties (like Top Ten)??

Just curious if anyone else had some info on that.

He created it before the ABC line became property of DC, more or less.

I read in an interview somewhere that Moore agreed to have the other titles company-owned so the writers would get more money up front (this was before DC bought Wildstorm). For some reason he handled League differently (perhaps, ironically, so he could control the film rights).
