Looks like a Meh month for the ultimate line

1)Ultimate fantastic four 54
Nice cover. There's just not a lot of buzz in carey's run. I did some research on Agatha harkness and the Salem seven and they are supposed to be witches.I don't know i think it's time for him to leave the book.

2)Ultimate Iron man II #5.
whoa... issue 5. last time i checked it was a four issue mini-series. Geez.. iron man is everywhere. Still it's a great series

3)Ultimate Spiderman 122
I lol when someone on the newsarama message boards suggested that the guy with the gun to peter's head is the Shocker. this book is head and shoulders above amazing spiderman and all the brand new day fiasco IMO

4)Ultimate X-men 94
Ahhh...No more kirkman and convoluted plots. Cover looks great. Colossus appears to be back. i bet the new adversary is probably a plague, legacy virus,a cure or something similar since the new writer (coleite) stated that there will be no major villains in this arc. Mark Brooks is doin the pencils? He's o.k i guess...

I think i will abandon the book after kirkman is done, unles he keeps Apocalypse's return open for later writers (And even then that does not mean he will return). But I have a feeling that Aron Coleite will ignore everything kirkman has done and make it seem like it was picked up a few writers ago, thats something I (And kirkman) hate, writers refusing to contiue story lines left by other writers and starting their own stuff out of the blue. All signifigant stories have been done under kirkman all thats left now is to find out what Magneto's up to (Which I am more curiouse than exited about).

Yep more series like this and we can simply beginn to think that Ultimates 3 and 4 doesn't exist and everything is still alright with that universe.

Shocker? Damm i didn't thought about that one. I thought it might be Deadpool since he used stun pistols which looked simliar to this one.

But now that i think about it, they really look a lot like Shockers blasters.

Personaly i think this would be awesome. Like all those embaresing apearances leading into one big wow moment in which the entire character might redeem himself (quality wise).

If you think about it, Shocker ain't really the greatest loser. After all he never really gave up, he never went on revenge against Spiderman, he just tried to do his job but sadly always went up against spiderman.

Perhaps it is a cure to the Legacy Virus and Colossus must ingest it to make it work, but he must also die. The ultimate sacrifice, it sounds original doesn't it?

Why does it solicit Mike Perkins jumping on for UFF :confused:? And oh no, Kirkham is still going to be on UFF until Carey finishes, he should've ended it with Ferry... but nonetheless Carey equates a good read to me.

UIMII, not a series I'm particularly enjoying but fine nonetheless, I like Ferry's art on the cover of this one.

USM looks fine as per usual...

UXM is looking like it might be good, I hope Aron Coleite can turn this book around, I'm a little dissappointed he's getting Mark Brooks on pencils though :(.

No Ultimates assumably because of the mid-season break from 3 to 4, but no new mini's solicited is a bit confusing to me, I still think the Ultimate Human is going to turn into a trilogy :D.

EDIT: Also just noticed it's pretty close to another Ultimate starts month, new arcs of UFF, USM (as far as I can tell) and UXM.

I'm interested in in Ultimate Fantastic Four for once, the cover looks great (I'm a sucker for the Human Torch) and hopefully Carey will finally impress with his final arc.

I'm relieved Kirkman is no longer on UXM and the book can become interesting again. I like the cover and apparently it's gonna play with the Legacy Virus plot Kirkman introduced, but I sure hope it's misleading... we just had one writer retelling 90's stories, please no more.

Ultimate Spider-Man looks like fun, I was looking forward to the MJ/Kitty Pryde team-up for a while. And if it is indeed the Shocker who kidnapped him it's gonna be hilarious.

USM is just a one issue story. The Venom / Carnage arc starts after this I believe. (?)

That issue of Spider Man is going to be brilliant. Spidey trapped with... the Shocker, riffing and ticking him off, Mary Jane and Kitty stuck together too.

People should buy UFF and give Carey a good send off for all his underated work.

No. Ultimatum doesn't start til at least September. Since it's Ultimate X-Men #98-100.

But given the fact that Ultimate Origins hasn't started either yet, it might not even start then.

I don't know the most recent date for Ultimate Origin is meant to be June, and Ultimatum is still reportedly coming out in September... Without seeing the solicitations for June as far as we can tell it's still on track.
