Mutant League 02/19/2008 AM Game X: AceOfSpades vs. CyberHubbs & fitditz

Greeting fight fans! Welcome to today's match, which will determine who places fifth overall in Mutant League 2008!

And now on to our fight...

In the first corner we have AceOfSpades' Bombastic Belles of Beezlebub:
Marvel Girl, Ultragirl, Aurora, Kiden Nixon, Fatale, Dead Girl, Amina Synge

In the other corner is CyberHubbs & fitditz's Spiral's Charmed Basket of Yarn To Strangle You With And Sharp Pointy Stuff:
Spiral, Ahab, Hybrid, Firestar, Sauron, Frederick Slade, Vanguard


Unfortunately CyberHubbs & fitditz failed to submit a strategy which means they forfeit their spot in the League and AceOfSpades places fifth. Since he won't be participating in further matches, I'll post AceOfSpades' strategy for review/entertainment. Congrats, AceOfSpades!

Stage One—Simultaneous Get down Party!
Dead Girl stands ready next to Kiden Nixon, if any danger comes our way, she will shove Kiden Nixon into the line of fire (Kiden Nixon will not be t old of this specific part) so she can jumpstart her powers, freezing time. Kiden Nixon takes this opportunity to play on some of the playground equipment in Central Park. She then comes back carrying a stick from a tree and proceeds to karate chop Spiral. She should be taken down by the force of this. She then runs screaming at Hybrid and starts beating him with the stick, this should at least distract him a little.

Marvel Girl puts up a tk shield around herself and immediately enters Frederick Slade’s mind, taking it over. Since she does this right at the beginning he should not have the opportunity to teleport anyone yet. If Ahab thows a harpoon, Rachel will make Slade teleport the harpoon into Ahab’s back. If Angelica fires off a radiation blast, or Spiral or Sauron a concussion blast, she will teleport each of these into their owners backs. Rachel will also be prepared for any tp protection against Hybrid. She also teleports Vanguard on top of Ahab when she gets the opportunity.

Aurora flies low across the field, releasing a blast of disorienting light along the way, dodging any blasts that come her way, and speeds at Hybrid, engaging the disoriented alien in combat.

Fatale turns invisible and teleports over to Ahab. She starts hacking away at him, being fully aware that he is a cyborg and will take some effort to completely kill. She starts with the head and then uses her mad martial arts skills to try and gain an upper hand.

Amina Synge sends out her salamanders to assault Spiral, just in case Kiden didn’t successfully take out the six armed witch. Amina keeps a few salamanders (like six) flying in close formation around herself to defend herself or any of her teammates if anyone should teleport near her .

Ultragirl quicky flies to the side of the open field and tears a small tree out from the ground. She then flies at Sauron, averting his direct gaze, and proceeds to beat him from a short distance with the tree. Once Sauron is rendered unconscious she will throw the tree at Firestar and then engage her in combat by swinging Sauron’s limp body straight at her.

Dead Girl will try and engage Vanguard if he attacks my original group.

Eliminated: Sauron, Spiral, Hybrid (possibly)
Busy: Firestar, Ahab (maybe knocked out) , Frederick Slade, Vanguard (maybe)

Stage Two – The End
Rachel finishes off Slade with a powerful tp blast. The she turns her attention to Vanguard, who is probably around the field somewhere. She makes him imagine that Hybrid is a member of my team screaming anti-russia propaganda and has Vanguard attack him. If Hybrid is already down then Rachel just proceeds to render Vanguard unconscious.

Ultragirl flies down to join Fatale’s attack on Ahab after she’s finished off Firestar, their combined effort, plus Vanguard falling down on him, should be enough to take him down.

Amina Synge sends Salamanders after Hybrid. Hell, Amina will send a SWARM of salamanders after Hybrid. THE SKIES ARE GONNA BE FILLED WITH SALAMANDERS!!!!!

Dead Girl sits back and charges at anyone that is still up and about.
Aurora attacks Slade is he is somehow still around. She flashes him (take it as you will) and just fast punching the hell out of him.

At the end of the match my team all sits back and reminiscences about all their time together.

oh! well.. I kept waiting for a strategy to pop up for the other team cause I didn't read Mr. Bib's comment. Awwwww... and I was looking foward to another match.

Well, great job anyway Cyberhubbs and fitditz, I'm sure we woulda had a battle to remember:D
