A Companion Poll to the other one. Which Dirty Muties from the Avengers who haven't ever been X-men should make the leap to the team that is sworn to protect those that hate and fear them!
1) Scarlet Witch
2) Firestar
3) Justice
4) Quicksilver
5) Arachne
6) Falcon (is he one anymore?)
7) Namor (Same deal!?)
8) Other (God, Jed I can't believe you forgot _______)

Firestar or Quicksilver would both make good X-Men.

Arachne for the win! She's totally slaying all but Angelica in the imaginary poll of my heart!
Arachne and Firestar should join the Avenging X-men!

I think you might be able to add one still. Just go to the thread tools thing on your post and see if that will let you.
If not, Cronin could probably do it for ya.

Namor owes the X-Men a big event appearance. They have continually said he is the first modern mutant yet he never shows up. He should remember that he is not justb an Atlantean but he is as mutant as well. A convo with Charles is long due past.

I think Justice and Firestar are ideal candidates for the X-Men. They always seemed to be written as more Mutants heroes, than rather just heroes.

totally agree! I always expected Rusty and Skids to join the New Warriors when they didn't make the X-force cut.

Scarlet Witch asking to join the X-men would be interesting.

Definitly. After all she did to the mutant race! :D

Julia Carpenter's not a mutant. her powers are artificial. i'll go with Firestar. she's got cartoon history with Bobby Drake.

Good thread. I definitely think Arachne would make an amazing X-Woman. I mean, she's not a mega telepath, she's not uber powerful, she has crafty psi-webs and kicks ass at fighting. Kind of like Psylocke, before she was transformed into the focused totality of sucksville.

really??!?!??
I guess I associate her with Mutants since she was in Mystique's Freedom Force.

Quicksilver & Wanda are obvious choices.
However, i would like to see Justice & Firestar in the X-Men.

yeah, it's an easy mistake to make. i'm not sure why she was part of Freedom Force other than she was a former tennis partner or Val Cooper. all of her powers are from an injection.

She's also got history with Emma. Probably more, actually.

Whatever happened to Uncle Sam from Mystique's team? Was he ever seen again? I should check out WBE's Mutie Tracker.

Not an Avenger, but I'd like to see Amadeus Cho interact with X-Factor... especially with Layla.

lol! are you talking about that cover where Mystique morphed into Uncle Sam? he wasn't actually a member. could you be thinking of Frank Bohannon? he had white hair and wore all red.

I was never too into the idea of the MU mutants joining the X-Men.
In fact, I would've preferred they lost their powers on M-Day and got them back via the Initiative, the Order, the New Warriors, etc. etc. etc.
Is Falcon a mutant?

Is Falcon a mutant?
No, I think he got his powers from the cosmic cube or something. But he's definitely not a mutant.

I always thought Quicksilver should join an X-team, same for Justice and Firestar. Sometimes characters like Justice, Firestar, and Namor are so far removed from the X-Universe that it's almost a shock that they actually are mutants.

I always thought Quicksilver (pre-crazy) should've joined the X-Men. I mean, in just about every alternate reality he is one (granted, that's almost always b/c Mags is the one leading the team).
Likewise, I think Wanda should've joined a X-team (strangely enough, she's almost never shown as a X-Men in alt. realities).
I also think Firestar could fit in nicely b/c she actually has some backstory with them. On the other hand, Justice always felt more like a "regular" hero than a mutant-hero to me. Maybe that's b/c his backstory is tied with the Avengers. Either way, I just don't really see him having much reason to go to them.

Wanda!!!
Maybe she could find sanity among the X-Men
Imagine her being a member of the team when Jean returns (we know from First Class they befriended each other) along with Emma.
We could soooooooo get some hilarious panels with Emma, Jean and Wanda :D :D :D :D

I pick Firestar, mainly because somehow setting herself on fire changes her from her street clothes into her costume.

Namor-- would not join the the x-men, I think it would be good for the writers to address his mutant side in story arc
Quicksilver-- is being step up to become villain again,He makes a more compelling borderline hero/villain than straight up hero i think.
Scarlet Witch-- i think the x-men are more forgiving than avengers consider the x-men has former villains in rogue, white queen primary members and allowed Sabertooth and mystique on teams,I think would accept her if she want to be a part.
Firestar--I think she fits the part of X-man more than else on the list.I think see add some useful stuff stories and she would bring a different perspective that has never been done in X-men.Plus her interactions with Emma Frost would be fun to read.
Justice--The only way i see justice joining if Firestar is part.He is the person that joining the X-men would boost the character a redesign suit and he has pretty good power set he could easily become a fan favorite.
Cloak and Dagger could be added to list

When did Arachne get outted as a mutant? Anyway I choose Falcon (I didn't know he was a mutant). It'd be nice to have at least one African American mutant lift in Marvel Earth. Depowerment seems to skip Asian woman.

I've always liked Firestar, so I'm gonna go with her.
I'm not sure if she's been around since she retired during Civil War, but I still think she could mesh well with the merry mutants. She retired because she didn't want to break the law, but at the same time, she didn't want work under the government's supervision. Since Civil War, the X-Men have been operating without being directly supervized or sanctioned by the government, but they also aren't being targeted for arrest by S.H.I.E.L.D. Thus, I think the X-Men are the best option for Angelica if she wants to resume being a superhero.

And, Arachne is NOT a mutant.;)
