Captain Britain and MI-13 - I'm surprised they didn't go with Excalibur; I would have thought that would be a lot more marketable. So the team has Captain Britain, Spitfire, Black Knight, Wisdom, and John the Skrull; and a couple of people I don't recognize.

Uncanny X-Men - Emma's got some weird Medusa hair on that cover; the solicits for this arc have been a bit repetitious.

X-Force - Cool cover (reminds me of AXM #19).

X-Men: Divided We Stand - Havok and Vulcan, eh? So they must be picking up on this plot fairly soon, if they're bothering to include it.

Young X-Men - lesbo-rific!

I think the Brotherhood will indeed be formed by the old New Mutants, since Marc said they'd play a big part in this book.

Another month without my bone girl anywhere. But thats okay since it seems to be a busy month for X-titles again.

That guy from The X-axis said that he considered a book about Pete Wisdom and his MI-13 a good idea. Seems like he will get it with addition of captain britan.

Uncanny X-men still doesn't sound very thrilling. It seems to be some kind of place holder of astonishing at the moment.

X-men Legacy. Hellfire club and Xaviers father? Sound promising. Because since "Y-The last man" i know that long dead fathers, can still play intresting roles for characters.

X-factor looks like the sh*t hit the fan and begann to burn. The cover is almost creepy.

X-FACTOR: THE QUICK AND THE DEAD is another surprise. Since there was no hint on that one anywhere. I wonder who put him in the cell?

Still not so much intrested in Cable but it seems to follow a plot.

Another proof that Wolfsbane is clearly not dead. I think my theory that purifiers simply blow up the church and keep her as hostage in the next issue seems to be right.
Besides that, not much to note about it. Nothing that stands out as particular intresting. Also Icemen or anyone else who went face to face against Bastion in OZT won't make an apearance it seems.

Young X-men seems to be the thing Dani Moonstar and Magma fans are going to see forward too.
Looks like Dani still keeps her spotlight in the marvel universe after all.

Now i wonder when we will get the "Womans of X" story drawn by Milo Manara?

The long hinted ANGEL: REVELATIONS also finaly makes it to the shelfs.

LOGAN #3 (of 3) and WOLVERINE #65 Still look like Wolverine titles which are worth looking into.

WOLVERINE: ORIGINS #25 makes me wonder what it still has to do with any history clear up? But well it got Deadpool which means people will buy it anyway.

Wasn't Colossus backstory revealed since, like 20 years ago? Why the hell do we need X-MEN ORIGIN: COLOSSUS now?
A title i also somewhat consider unncesary is WOLVERINE: FIRST CLASS #3

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS #12 still looks nice.

NEW EXILES #6 is still writen by Claremont with a cast that doesn't grap my intrest. But maybe its just me.

Seeing Surge not apearing in near future is kind of sad, but considering how much she grew since her first apearance (from drug adicted mutant who couldn't controll her powers) it might be time for her to return home for a while.
I wonder if Forge story will deal with him trying to find a way of returning someone from the futures?

CAPTAIN BRITAIN AND MI: 13 #1 - Not sold on this one yet. Tieing it into Secret Invasion is a nice sales tactic though. Breaking from the Excalibur name is a bit strange though. Maybe considering the cast is primary non-mutants, they didn't want to use that name. I'm in for a trail period. Not a fan of the cast though... and Cornell's Wisdom was awful.

UNCANNY X-MEN #498 - The first issue coming out of Messiah Complex has given me a lot of hope for Brubaker's work on the book. We'll see if that is misplaced with this arc leading into to #500. The Nightcrawler/Colossus/Wolverine interaction is more interesting than the A-Story of Scott and Emma in Hippies Land.

X-MEN: LEGACY #211 & 212 - Double the Carey Pleasure. Double the Carey Fun. I assume this is going to deal with the dangling questions about the Black Womb Project that was mentioned during Endangered Species. Can't wait to see what the deal is.

X-FACTOR #31 - Probably my least favorite book before Messiah Complex. Let's see if PAD can continue to pull in my interest afterwards, or if the book returns to the point where I'm tempted to drop it. Adding Darwin at some point isn't exactly a plus in my book.

X-FACTOR: THE QUICK AND THE DEAD - Interesting solicit. Makes me wonder if Magneto or Scarlet Witch will be liberating Pietro from Jail. We know the Scarlet Witch is posed to return soon. So I wouldn't mind it being her. We'll see how it goes.

CABLE #3 - So far, the book seems interesting... but hasn't really sold me. I used to carry a pretty heavy hatred for Cable until Carey made me like him. And I used to like Bishop after X-Treme, but neither of them are really selling the book for me. Also on a trial run.

X-FORCE #4 - One thing is for sure, the book plays to Kyle and Yost strengths. And they can't happily slaughter the supporting cast, because there's no real supporting cast. Only negative in my book is Bastion. Didn't like him in the 90's, don't like him here.

YOUNG X-MEN #2 - The book that gets more curious with each piece of news and solicit. So the New Mutants are a part of the New Brotherhood. And it's likely that the New X-Men may be involved also. Very curious. Hopefully Dani has her Valkyrie powers back.

GENEXT #1 (of 5) - Been waiting for this a while. Can't wait to see Beast, CeCe Reyes, and their kids again. Hopefully one of them is an X-Man. Now we just need to get some more news about the CC/Milo Manara projects and we're cool.

ANGEL: REVELATIONS #1 (of 5) - Angel's the least interesting member of the Original 5 for me. But also the one there's the least early year info about... so we'll see where this goes. I wouldn't mind a mini-series like this focused on the pre-X-Men years of each of the O5.

WOLVERINE #65 - I liked the first issue of the Get Mystique storyline... so I'm here for the last one. I won't be picking up any of the other Wolverine books though. He's annoyingly everywhere enough. Well, except for the next one....

WOLVERINE: FIRST CLASS #3 - The Knights of Wundagore! Woo!! This book is going to be as cool as X-Men: First Class. Now if only both could pick up some more readers. Because so far I like what I see. Other than the ugly costume on Logan.

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS #12 - An Angel centric issue of X-Men: First Class? And they joked that Cyclops was boring a few issues ago. Heh. Sorry, not a huge Angel fan. Hopefully we'll get around to a Beast or Iceman focused issue. Or another 'Buddy Issue'.

X-MEN ORIGIN: COLOSSUS - Not sure how much you really can expand Colossus origin, but it has to be better than the Colossus: Bloodlines miniseries. Anything is better than that lump of dung. I'm glad they changed the name from Mythos: Colossus though. Now where the Mike Carey penned X-Men Origin: Beast. Chop chop!!

NEW EXILES #6 - Oldest pair of star-crossed lovers since stars first crossed? Interesting tease... and I have no guesses. But if the cover is any indication, we have Morph vs. The Red Baron. If Morph pulls off a Snoopy impression it will be the best issue ever.

X-MEN: DIVIDED WE STAND BOOK 2 (of 2) - You had me at Mike Carey's Beast vs. Dark Beast. I wonder if this is tied into Beast showing up in a future issue of X-Men: Legacy hunting for Xavier under Cyclops' orders. Either way, this issue sounds great. Other than possibly more Havok/Vulcan drival. And I guess Forge's big push is here.

I agree with you about Legacy, it is nice that we are getting two issues in one month. This three issue 'Sins of the Father' series holds promise.

I also wonder what they will do with Pietro, it certainly seems like they are pushing him and Wanda out of comic book limbo on a bunch of different series and universes at the same time.

Y'know, I wouldn't be surprised. Axel expressed a serious interest in he, Cable and Bishop, and two out of those three are already in this book. Perhaps Forge jumps into the future to help Cable? That could be kind of cool.

Of course, it doesn't sound like Nate will be staying in that particular time period for much longer, so perhaps Forge jumps to the future in order to help bring him back to the past for some reason?

Yeah, Forge is a good guess on the guy in Cable. His appearance there is probably set up by the short story in Divided We Stand #2. That way the three characters that Axel wanted to push into the forefront are all in the same book. That way they can either sink or swim depending on how well it's handled.

Could be. Forge was one of the 3 guys, along with Cable and Bishop that Axel wanted to give a push too. He's got issues with both guys after MC. Has access to time travel equipment, and is a pretty bad ass soldier in his own right.

I would like if he just had two books each going monthly. One Legacy, and one team book. Fingers crossed that this happens somewhere down the line because I like the concept behind Legacy, but not as much as Carey writing a team book.

The saddest loss in MC (and the issues leading up to it) was Carey's team. It would've been nice to see them set up shop on Providence w/ the Conquistador as their transportation. Maybe do two more arcs and have the 3rd arc culminate w/ the Children of the Vault tearing up Providence and the team, and after the Children are barely beaten, Regan flips the switch and the Marauders drop down onto the island and take out the X-Men and we get our whole Messiah Complex deal.

X-MEN: DIVIDED WE STAND BOOK 2: Sweet, hopefully they use these books to springboard future stories. I figure Carey will be writing Beast, Cebulski on Surge, Schmidt is a good bet for the Havok story, and Swierczynki on Forge. Which makes me figure Surge to Loners, Forge to Cable, and Havok etc to Annihilation, and Beast to Legacy perhaps.

that's a lot, for me.

some thoughts:

there's a lot of x-titles this month. 20 books. some of these one-shots seem weird. why couldn't the pietro story be a normal issue of x-factor, for example? colossus' last solo mini did not sell well, a one-shot seems odd for him now.

it sounds like cannonball is going to be in cable. and old friend that "comes blasting out of the past". that would be cool if true.

i like the young x-men cover but i'm still not getting the title.

i'm surprised genext is coming out. surprised, but not interested.

i'm probably most looking forward to angel: revelations. i really enjoy pollina's work.

But to recap:

Schmidt = Havok and Vulcan (possible tie-in to the Annhilation stuff)

You're right and a lot of the team has already left, so I wonder if they're going to go in a really different direction when Loners relaunches. I'm not the biggest Surge fan, but I wouldn't mind taking her over Namie to not shift the guy-girl ratio further.

That would be awesome, but how would Cannonball time travel? And why would he go? If Cable sent word he needed help, why would only Sam come?
Domino or Deadpool could be other candidates. Or any of the old X-Force members.

Unfortunately, Forge fits because he has time traveling equipment and some knowledge of future events. He may actually understand why Cable and Bishop are doing what they are doing. It's not very exciting, but Forge is third character Alonso said he wanted to promote and the first two are both in Cable.

The only other character who can time travel is billions of miles away stuck in space. :(

Beast could probably also figure out how to work Forge's equipment and might be able to figure out what's going on the baby's future, but he's not going to leave mainstream continuity.

It was very good, the problem however was that it was intended to be an ongoing and so ended the arc as one, with all the new mysteries and recent character introductions you'd expect. It was later decided that it would be a mini and so the end of the mini is more than a bit anticlimactic, not addressing questions and plot points only raised in the final issue.

The design is almost the same as Ramos's Surge from New X-Men 45. The gauntlets are almost the same as is the shirt. The under half is similar to Ramos's version of the uniforms.

Supporting casts for the Runaways is fine as long as the book comes out on time.
