Need help finding a reasonable 1. dcd bw mignola batman. Tuff one I know, thanks:)

Not going to be easy. They seem to be going for 250.00 and up.
the last ones have been going for 325.00 on ebay. I haven't seen them for less anywhere. sorry.:( good luck. Last time I got one. I got beat up for it on ebay( minor bruises).

Holy smokes! I gave one to my friend for his wedding last year (I was the best man, his wife got a Wonder Woman statue); I need to tell him to be careful with the statue when they move this summer.

My advice is to check back here every few months. I did that for a few years and eventually someone here helped me out and I got one for less than $80.

You might be up a creek without a paddle though. They are few and far between and expensive as heck!

I paid $99 for mine about three weeks ago.I looked all over the different Comic and Sci-Fi shops online and looked at their back inventory.Not all shops use Ebay and not everyone loves Mignola like most of us do here.

Also, if you see a comic book store, check it. A lot of stores order this stuff and never move it. Might find a good deal with a bit of haggling.

Very good advice, Rick! Although this statue seems to be quite popular (as it's missing from every comic shop I frequent), you may get lucky and spot one all lonely on a shelf, just waiting for someone to love it and take it home.

I got one after chatting with my comic store guy, He made some phone calls and got one for me. I believe it was from the west. Man was I surprised.:D Gave me a Hellboy/ Goon cross over too at cost. Spredding the word can help.

thanks for all the leads and tips. wont go ebay unless its a bargain (got SS officer kroenen 12" for 50.00 there a few weeks back!!) Have a couple more shops to rummage thru and may hit the con this weekend if possible.

Continuing on the statue front, I was thinking about bringing mine to Wondercon and getting it signed. I have a numbe rof the Batman B&W statues, and I think it would be cool to have each signed by the artist that inspired the piece.

Most people get statues signed on the bottom of the base, but I think I would want it signed on the top so you could see the signature. Does this sound competely crazy?

it's personal preference,andy..i have stuff signed both ways....some want the signature on the bottom to preserve the look of the statue.

:eek: Wow. And here I got it at the original price from my comic shop back home. I have it sitting on a bookcase in my old room at my parents house. I decided not to bring it in to the apartment because it looks more fragile than others. It is a beautiful piece.
