The rights to release season four (and probably five) of Sliders have finally been approved. The fourth season is released on March 25th.
This was the final season featuring Jerry O'Connel as Quinn Mallory and the first of the series two seasons on the Sci-Fi Channel. O'Connel was an executive producer, which led to the casting of his talentless brother Charlie. What saved the season however was the much stronger and politically relevant storylines that were much closer to the tone of the first two seasons, but "Action Quinn" remained, and a lame-ass "Superman" subplot revealing Quinn came from an alternate Earth, not Earth Prime, which infuriated long-term fans to the point they couldnt appreciate some of this season's more memorable episodes and moments.
