We have seen and heard much about him but I am still at a loss to his exact nature. I am at least relieved that we are not going to see a repeat of that "The mummy" scenario fro x men evolution, but then what is he? I know we already have a thread on Apocalypse but that was more centred on his role rather than his nature and background. I must say... I have rarely been more curious!

I'm going with some kind of mutant astral form vampire thing. Possessing Sinister and then using his body to absorb enough mutant energy that he can take physical form by mutating sinister's body. He then possess the powers of the mutants Sinister killed, thinking he was offering their souls to Appocalypse. Possibly their memories as well as abilities, like an immortal's quickening.

I hope not. I know he is using Sinisters body but I still think he is a separate entity.

Wow 11 vote for "None of the above/something else" I didnt think the options were that bad.

I still think "An evil equivalent to the phoenix force" is most likely.

"An advanced Robot" is the only one that no one is voting for.

Honestly, I thought about it too and he probably is an evil equivilent to Phoenix, but for the sake of the comic's actual universe I hope it's as rational an explanation as possible...
