Anything in Anime or Manga that made you Happy

Do you Remember or have seen anything in anime or manga that made you feel Happy after having seen it?. it could be anything like a scene or an entire series.

For me, it would be one Piece,i don't know why but somehow this series makes me happy everytime i read a new chapter.the characters could be fighting for their lives and i'll still be as giddy as spongebob when im done with the chapter.

another thing about anime that is the epitome of happiness for me are the theme songs for "heroic" Shows especially when the Band psychic lover does them

This will be the weirdest one EVER(and its right at the start of the thread)When Makoto died at the end of Shool Days. I felt happy because I could have gone down that road in life, but I made a conscious decision not to. It was the first time I saw the consequences of something that I had feared growing up. Yes I know it's strange, but it's my opinion.:)

Evangelion. That's a serious you can always count on to cheer you up. Everyone's always so metally sound and happy. Also the End movie was a laugh riot. :rolleyes:

One Piece is a great source for getting cheered up after a academically depressing day. Ruffy's never give up straight forward attitude and the friendship shared by the Straw hats make me smile and cry out of happiness.

Ranma½ is so hilarious that I can't read a single volume without bursting into fits of laughter.

Also, when Chopper first joins the Strawhat crew. Everytime he tries to hide behind something and his entire body is always exposed. When someone praises him and he curses them out while not being able to control his joy. Ahh who am I kidding, EVERYTHING in One Piece makes me :)

In Kamen Rider Spirits, after Kamen Rider 2 stops the tank shell after transforming, the general guy asks him his name and mission.

Now and then, I realize I'm a sucker for romance and relationship drama :)

In Serial Experiments Lain, when Taro uses the word "cracker" to refer to computer criminals, when in previous episodes other characters had used "hacker." I was pleased by this because it showed that series writer Chiaki Konaka knew about the hacker/cracker distinction and intentionally had some characters use "hacker" in its popular sense because they wouldn't know better.

That episode(Layer 09 - Protocol) was also very pleasing for its massive infodump on the history of computers, brain science, and paranoid conspiracy theories.

The scene in paranoia agent where the detective uses the bat to break apart the reality he made up, the music is amazing.

Pretty much any scored scene in perfect blue, millenium actress, tokyo godfathers, or paprika.

I recently realized that there is no thread for the Claymore manga.(IMHO it's the best thing out right now even though we only get one chapter a month)The latest chapter is up and it showcases the 7 warriors that survived the North kicking awakened being ass again. It also shows how strategic they are(even though I think we have not seen them as good as they can be together yet)Anyone who isn't reading this should start(especially since so many people liked the anime, the manga is much better)I will probably be making a thread about Claymore later if I search for one and can't find it. Oh yeah, back on topic. Claymore makes me :D. There are quite a few spoilers, I think I might have posted one already(Damn it)but this latest chapter is one of the best so far. Read it. Love it.
