So the Omnibus is coming out? I may have to check it out since everyone raves about Starman.

Interesting that he's anticipating a two-year run. That's about the length of Busiek's.

Interesting interview.

Robinson sounds like Geoff Johns' biggest fan, wow.

I'd like to know what his plans for the character are, specifically. Not in the sense of storyarcs, but in the sense of how is he going to write the character.

I really don't like the comment he made about crossing over with Action Comics. I don't want a return to the bad old triangle days where I have to buy other books than Superman to get a whole story. That's one of the things I liked about Busiek's work on the title, he would touch on things that happened in Action, but I didn't have to read Action to know what was going on. I don't have anything against Geoff Johns, but I haven't cared for his work on the Action title.

WIZARD: So James, it’s been a while since you’ve been in comics. Why did you come back now, and why Superman?

Honestly, I have always wanted to work with Geoff Johns. He is one of the greatest comic book creators currently working. And as an old fossil, it’s just nice to be invited to be part of the party.

Didn't he already? First arc of Hawkman?

Didn't he already? First arc of Hawkman?

I'm thinking he meant that he wants to work with the current Geoff Johns, who's a legit big name and has come a long way since DAY OF JUDGMENT and his 1st projects in the biz. Back when they worked together a bit on Hawkman, JSA and STARS and Stripe, Johns was very much a newbie.
