Here it is-

http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=146011

I've decided to post this interview here rather then the DCU forums for 2 facts revealed, with one perhaps being revealed before and with me not paying close enough attention-

1) the Alpha Lanterns were not created by Geoff Johns but rather by Grant Morrison, who gave Johns the idea.

2) and I quote-

NRAMA: Is there anything else you want to tell people about the issue?

SG: I just hope people pick it up and give it a chance. The Alpha-Lanterns are such a great idea, and they're going to play a major part in Final Crisis. (Emphasis Mine)

If that's not enough to set tounges wagging (or fingers typing) I don't know what will. How will the Alpha Lanterns play a major part in final crisis? Will some Green Lantern go evil causing the ALs to get involved?

Another very interesting point I'd like to make....

In this cover, which I presume is Green Lantern Corps #22...

the 2 figures on each side of Boodikka...I'm guessing it must have something to do with her sister becoming either a Green Lantern or... a Blue one. At least that's what it looks like to me.

So hopefully we'll be getting to see more of Ganthet and Sayd to see how their Hope corps is going.

I don't mind the alpha lanterns in actuality, but there are a couple recent GL developments that I don't like.

First of all, the scene with John Stewart in that solar system he couldn't save, when his 'willpower exceeded ring capabilities'.

Im sorry, it might make for a cute page or line, but it's completely contradictory to everything the GL rings have been.

'LIMITED ONLY BY THE IMAGINATION AND WILLPOWER OF THEIR USER'.

This means that a) the Stewart line shouldn't have happened. And b) the alpha lanterns having 2 rings shouldnt make them more powerful, since they're dependent on willpower, not number. (I realize that the alpha lanterns do seem to contain power batteries, which is fine. If that's how they justify the increased power, that's great, but the fact that they specifically mentioned the second ring certainly implies that they are in large part responsible for at least some of the power upgrade).

Or that it allows for more ready multitasking (even in the instance of doing one thing...like two people working on the same task). The power is certainly there and based on willpower but at least in my recollection more rings equaled more power at least as far back as when Hal went crazy as he was gathering up rings for a reason and took them all off for a final showdown against Sinestro.

Actually I think that's just Boodikka's two old costumes from before she was a Green Lantern and during. They just look like dummies wearing the costumes to me

Ah yes, I didn't even think about her old costume.
