Wouldn't it be funny if Gail had Bizarro Wonder Woman guest-star in her Wonder Woman title? I looked it up and it looks like she made an appearance in the December 2007 issue of Action Comics, #857. In it Bizarro Wonder Woman's lasso was shown to force people to lie.

Bizarro Wonder Woman also appeared in Lord Havok and the Extremists #4 as one of Monarch's henchmen. In it her name is Bizarra.

Ok I'm just a bit curious here, what use is a lasso that forces you to lie? To quote the Laugh-in Nazi "This is very interesting, but stupid." ;)

If by "funny" you mean "awesome," then yes, it would be funny.

Eventually I could see something like this, but the book really has to get its legs under it for a few years first with more substantial stuff.

And if its done it should be a stand alone story, I think--just a short one-issue blatantly humorous tale.

I think a stand-alone would be great. I wouldn't mind. An annual story perhaps?

As for the usefulness of a Bizarro lasso, it pretty much can still tell you if someone is telling the truth or not. You just have to believe the opposite of what a person tied by it says. Again, it would be for comic effect and not practicality. ;)

Ok so if suspect told you that the bomb is at ____ then that means the bomb is not at _____ which means the bomb could be anywhere else, if there is indeed a bomb. So the only way to determine the truth is to ask a bunch of yes or no questions.

Now granted telling lies would be just one of the lassos powers, it would also make you see lies, but everyone is in some state of denial anyway. I suppose if it project false images into say superman's brain the way Maxwell Lord did, and caused him to fight another teamate then it might have its uses.

Bizarro super-powers aren't supposed to be useful. That's why they're Bizarro.

I'd like to see Bizarro Diana just in passing.

But maybe the lassos get mixed up.

Then have eight to twelve issues where Diana is stuck using the Bizarro lasso.

Not every status quo change in a comic book or power shift needs to be imposing and serious and dramatic.

I think it would just be fun if Diana had to cope with a screwy lasso that worked in reverse.

And for added fun, the lasso can sometimes be used to implant commands, make people sleep, etc. Right?

So the Bizarro lasso should make people agitated, disobedient and borderline temporarily insane.

It'd be fun if Diana had to cope with the wrong lasso for awhile, with the running gag of, "I really need to trade this thing back for the original. Long story."

Also... She can talk to animals. I'd love to see this played with more. It'd be great if while negotiating with somebody, who took a second with an ambassador's dog. "Woof! Woof! Woof! Ah... Mr. Ambassador, you'll have to do something about those illegal biological weapons before we talk. You really should have considered treating your dog better. I'm afraid I'll have to grant him political asylum."
