I don't know if I'm seriously late on this, it would seem so now but it all flew right over me, Frank Cho is doing the variant cover and already it's been somewhat controversial so we have two alternate covers of the third issue.

So what does everyone think? Really puts Loeb's unsubtle exposition into perspective (no pun intended).

Makes sense to me. After Wolverine fights a dinosaur he goes and bones the corpse of he scarlet witch.
Done and done.
That's not a variant. That's the whole comic. AWWWWOOOOOGAH

All three of those covers disgust me, and yet...I cant stop staring...
And I hate when they draw wolverine so ... muscley. The ultimate version is supposed to be taller and leaner. But the last thing I want to do is start another "Loeb doesnt pay attention" thread so lets all just stare at the Scarlet Witch's cooch for a while, ok?

I swear to god I'm living in a parallel universe.
What the hell, they're gonna further butcher UXM with Wolverine/Scarlet Witch affair? Has any of these idiots even read Millar's run?!?!?!?!

Yes, lets all stare at her cooch! Wolverine has slowly become 616. When Sabretooth ripped a chunk out of Wolverine is when the Ultimate one disappeared about(he musta ripped out the Ultimate out of him).
So wait, all three covers are coming out, or just the first 2? I like the last one, haha, Cho you rascal you. I actually prefer Cho's style over Mad's(Mad is so cartoony, even if it looks good, I prefer more realistic stuff in Ultimates case)

Wolverine was always big in the Ultimate Universe. Just taller. Both Adam and Andy Kubert drew him as extremely muscular in the very first arc. In fact, in his very first appearance in Ultimate X-men he was freakin' massive (the shot of him at the end of Ultimate X-men #1 where he'd killed that dinosaur in the Savage Land).
He basically looked just like his 616 counterpart but about a foot taller and with a chin goatee (that they thankfully got rid of).

The last thing I want is ANYTHING with Logan on the cover, but I'd have to hope for #1 as the ChoWitch is not something I want my 6 year old oggling and the bare assed pic is just another teen wet dream image of Cho's that I'm sure was just him having fun and never intended for being a real cover.
Guess Pietro needs to work on his Sis' big patootie more

all I have to say is WTF with the penciled variant. Save that for Marvel goes PORNO style.
maybe have Jamie in charge of that with XXX factor XD

The third isn't a cover, it's just a sketch that the artist did

Yea. According to Frank:
The naked image of Wolverine and Scarlet Witch embracing was just a prelim.
Here's the final cover image that I sent to Marvel.

Apparently, even though it was approved by the editors, the higher ups at Marvel pulled a "Do not want" on it.
(Found this on the Lying in the Gutters board btw)

Notice the parental advisory in the corner?
It's not for your six year old. I think most of the events from Mark Millar's run and the sex tape could have told you that much.
...That cape does look a little...phallic.

I find that cover so freaking offensive. Are we seriously expected to believe that Ultimates fans won't recognize Wolverine unless his claws are extended?
(cue torrent of innuendo jokes)
That says more to me about Cho's target audience than Scarlet Witch's cross hatched crack.

He sees the covers in the shop, obviously I control what he reads. That and I don't want my WIFE seeing me coming home with that in my bag, she already thinks I'm an overgrown nerd for still collecting comics. With that she'll think I'm into illustrated porn comics :)
Woah looks like Cho collects Big Booty magazine.
I actually think that cover is so sexy. It looks awesome.

I read both of Millar's Ultimates volumes, and I prefer Loeb's stuff so far over Millars. I am more into action driven Ultimates stories like Loeb's, over drama and suspense driven stuff like Millar's Ultimates.

Umm I thought Millar's Ultimates was more action driven? It read to me like an action packed arc.

Half of the issues had no battles at all in them. Better look again.;)
I like the variant one a lot. Cho's women have one good trait about them, and that's they usually have some meat on their bones. Like her legs aren't sticks, and her stomach area looks like it's actually not a perfect flat surface with no fat. Her stomach looks like there's just a touch of weight there.
Not a fan of the alternate one though.

I was refering moreso to Millar's run on Ultimate X-Men, the cover showing Scarlet Witch and Logan sexing it up is completely out of character from the initial Millar run on Ultiamte X-Men.
