I play in bands! I'm a singer, I also play guitar but never in the various bands I've been in. Currently I'm in a sixties covers band called The Peace Corps. which is proving to be a lot of fun. We've only played at a lot of birthday parties so far...gigs that were all generated from word of mouth off of the back of our debut gig back in May last year. So it's so far so good I guess.

Back in the mid to late 90s I was the lead singer of an obscure indie band called The Kynd. We were signed to a small British independent label and released two singles and an album before we bankrupted the label. Here's the promo video of our second single World's Finest (spot the comics reference in the title ;) )...

World's Finest was probably our most successful single, reaching number 10 in the UK indie charts and getting a bit of TV and radio exposure internationally back in 1997. Oh, and here's The Kynd's MySpace page in case anyone's interested...

I was in a couple of bands in college. Played guitar for the first one and bass (and some harmonica) in the second one. Both were pretty much cover bands (we covered everything from Motown to pop to funk to punk), but we did have a few original songs... we played mostly frat parties to drunk hooligans who wouldn't have cared if we played nursery rhymes as long as it was loud.
