How would you react if Captain Marvel was a skrull?

This is pure speculation at this point, but given that he was given such a big hype about being back I was wondering how fans would react to it. I really think that a lot could be done with this situation and especially with the mysterious background of his return. For example the original Captain Marvel betrayed the Kree, yet what if this Captain Marvel is really a skrull that thinks he is the real deal. Similar situation would be created by him betraying the skrulls. I think that could create some interesting stories. Also it would be a way to keep him around. Any thoughts on this? Would some readers be outraged by this?

I disagree. The events of 'The Return' were highly suspect. And we were told to supsect characters returning.

I think it's the most likely outcome given how many people don't like the idea or execution of his return.

With his mini-series tieing heavily into Secret Invasion, I think that's the only thing that makes sense.
