I know. I was hoping that S.W.O.R.D would show up seeing how extra-terrestrials fall under their jurisdiction and all. I want some more Agent Brand Maria Hill moments

I love Yu's art, though I will admit that I am glad to see he's cleaned it up a bit (I like both clean and scratchier) for a big event.

Nice clean art thanks to the inker, I was expecting to be disappointed by Laura Martin's colors but they're kind of close to Dave Mcaig enough to almost not notice the difference.

Can't wait for this.

Can't wait to see the explanation of how the Skrulls are undetectable. No way Black Bolt Skrull could infiltrate the Inhumans.

First of all how could they subdue the real BB?

Poor Hank. He's like the entire Marvel Universe's bitch.

And with the Skrull invasion, what is the status quo for skrulls currently on earth, like Teddy, Xavin, and whatever she-hulks parter's name is?

Sigh. Bendis is the patron saint of crappy comics from the late 70's, early '80s. Spider-Woman, Ms. Marvel and now this sad lift from Rom The Spaceknight.

I guess its because of that large close up of her face from the last Illuminati issue. She somehow looked sad on it.

Yeah, there are definately potential tie in's here.

They'll probably send SHIELD or the Initiative after the teams with known skrulls on them.

We've got one Skrull on the Initiative, one in She-Hulk, one on Runaways and one on Young Avengers. Any other known skrulls floating around out there?

Probably Human Torch's former wife... though we don't know where she's at. We know there's one on the Squadron Supreme, but as he's in a different dimension, he probably won't be a factor.

But its Bendis... and his House of M is any indication he has problems doing huge storylines with a cast of characters. He wants to do all this character driven stuff and it distracts from the overall series.

OK, call me stupid but can someone fill me in on who S.W.O.R.D. is and how she came to be on that slab? I'm guessing this is an X-Men thing and I don't read X-Men I'm afraid.

I'm pretty excited about the whole Secret Invasion thing but I can't really say that this preview has made me any more excited. Anyway, roll on April!

He has a gret inker in Mark Morales for this event series, so the art is much cleaner and vibrant then his uninked New Avengers stuff.

Not interested, but I will say I don't know why they keep putting Cap on so many thing even though he's dead. That's not the 'new' Cap (Read: Fake poser Cap), that's Rogers Cap, the only Cap.

He's dead.

I, too, don't know why Yu is drawing this. It's supposed to be eight issues and he's in the group of artists that don't really put their stuff out eight months in a row. You get me?

Yu is actually pretty fast, he's put out all of his Avengers stuff on time without missing a beat. And the books are double sized so he's fine.

It's a Skrull version of the cover to New Avengers #1, in the same vein as the Zombie covers of Marvel Zombies.

She has nipples. They just grow hair that goes up and hides the personal alreas on her head. Skrulls are very modest about the top of there heads. Why do you think they all where those caps?

McNiven's art is too pretty for a gritty, sci-fi thriller, in my opinion.

Yu is great for this book. I don't always like the way some of his characters look (I hate his Wolverine) but he's great at action scenes.

And aren't the issues of SI all double sized? i know at least the first one is?

Yu is one of the few artists who can actually get more than 3 issues out on a monthly basis

So no Civil war type delays!
