It's very rare that a spin off will come about from a series (tv, comics, movies etc) where the original protagnist doesn't appear & people follow. Quite looking forward to this :D
(Testament to how well they've constructed Orson et al really)

Squeal. This is going to be awesome. And just a small question, was Amazing Man really a Timely character like the article says? I thought some other company created him.

Amazing Man was created by Centaur Publications. Now he is public domain, any company can use him. As such DC have their own Amazing Man, radically different to John Aman. Malibu were the last to use the original.

I'm really looking forward to this. I love neopulp stuff. Fraction has actually pitched an Orson mini and an Orson monthly several times to Marvel and was denied every stinking time.
I think it was a word balloons podcast I heard that in.

I love the current art work of the series so much I am still up in the air about the "classic" art but I am most definitely picking it up

Anything is better than the Chaykin rubbish that was in the annual.
Which artists drew these pages?

I wouldn't mind seeing that art in the main title.

That'd probably be Mitch Brettweiser's art.
