Very nice Tre!!!

Maybe would be even better with the shadown on his face.

Artists dont tend to draw that anymore. I dont know why.

I bet if Nightcrawler had that sword on the spaceship, he would have pwned the dude with the huge sword.

Great work everyone! Here are the four costumes I've done so far, with only his Pacheco Excalibur, Revoltution and New X-Men-era costumes left to do. So, with three costumes left, here is the teleporting Bavarian Blue-furred, demonic looking mutant, the X-Men's own Kurt Wagner, Nightcrawler

Here is Kurt in his classic X-Men duds
http://rtbolts.superbuddies.net/MarvelPics/Nightcrawler-Classic.jpg

And his next costume, as a member of Excalibur, given to him by Silkworm while on Cloud Nine
http://rtbolts.superbuddies.net/MarvelPics/Nightcrawler-Silkworm.jpg

Here is Kurt's Alan Davis designed costume, similar to the Cloud Nine and classic looks, and used as a member of the X-Men while serving as the XSE as well, before M-Day
http://rtbolts.superbuddies.net/MarvelPics/Nightcrawler-XSE.jpg

And finally, Kurt's current look, basically the same as above, but with different hair and no open collar
http://rtbolts.superbuddies.net/MarvelPics/Nightcrawler-XMen.jpg

Hope you enjoy them! More Kurt is coming.

I've finished the next in the remaining Kurt looks I've yet to do, his Pacheco-designed Exaclibur costume, with little left to the imagination with completely bare arms and legs, and not much other than a red poncho...

Kurt, as designed by Pacheco

More looks coming up, and variants of a few with his sword in hand.

Hope you enjoy...

This is really cool! I'm not a huge fan of Kurt with a sword but it's fun in a pic like this. He's a little....naked looking though. Is that a thong he has on?! :D

Blame Carlos Pacheco, he designed the skimpy poncho swashbuckling look for Kurt... I think I've just created a funny new cartoon character, skimpy poncho.

Good Morning All,

First off, I have been a long time fan of the X-Men (not going to say how long since it will age me...lol) and I have been a frequent viewer of the columns here for the past 2 yrs or so and have finally taken the plunge and have decided to start contributing to the columns here.

With that said, can anyone make me a Nightcrawler Avitar?
There were not any available to use when I created my account.
I have 2 major character faves...Nightcrawler and Iceman (and neither were available avatars...is there really no love for them?)

Thanks in advance.

Practising my charcoal skills. I usually scan, but I haven't done much charcoal before and don't know if it wouldn't get coal all over my scanner. So, slightly lopsided photo.

Hope you like it

these are by far my favorite of the thread. im also the kind of person that would pick his favorite son or daughter and not hesitate to tell the rest which of them it was. Does that make me a prick? Yes. Yes it does.

But both of these pieces required focus and talent and years worth of experience to produce quality on such a high level. I think all attempts at art should be encouraged; however, to not recognize the best submissions is just frustratingly unjust. My attempt at drawing Nightcrawler was done on water color paper, with pencil, prisma color pencils, and ink. Its roughly 3' x 2.5', and since i dont have a scanner, let alone on that large, a camera was the only thing i had access to. The paper itself was bent, so please excuse the warping of proportions, but to keep things truthful, I do admit that the left hand ended up larger than intended.
