And please feel free to comment on others' work, BUT remember, this isn't art class and all posters are encouraged to participate regardless of talent. I liked Dani's renaissance when she revealed her MLA stunt & fell out of character limbo & gracefully landed back in X-Force (before getting totally way too powerful & stunted)...this was her best look yet (followed by her NM look with optional headgear.)

The lady on the glowing "airboard" is Skids, in her newest rendition from Brubaker's Uncanny X-Men. Judging from the clothing on her lower body, I'm guessing the ant-lady is Husk.

I've only been loosely following Uncanny, but I do like Skids. Nice team line-up Alex--I can see Dani as leader of the pack there.

Yup. I decided to have Paige husking into something cool cuz there are four blondes on the team and I wanted her to stand out a bit. Interestingly, if I would have drawn Boomer in her latest costume, we would have three blonde women who wear a mini-skirt as part of their costume (which is why I used her older costume).

I was debating about whether to make Dani or Alex the leader. I chose the line up cuz I liked the idea of an X-team consisting of more women than men (ala Gen 13 or Runnaways). In reality, Sunspot would have been a better choice instead of Boom-boom because his power is less redundant (and a strong guy is needed) and he is visually more unique.

Mouse, and it is was acting twitchy the entire time. Thanks for the compliment. I actually liked how this Dani portrait turned out compared to the two Emma Frost submissions, the Rogue portrait, and the Cypher portrait.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks again. I need to get Photoshop and a scanner to really do justice to the X-Men.

It's damn hard to draw with a mouse, I'm in awe.

There's cheaper programs than Photoshop that might do what you want. Some graphics tablets even come with free image editing programs.

Well, that's what I have to work with at the moment, and thanks again. I'm saving up for photoshop, anyway, it has what I want, but thanks for the recommendations!

So I technically finished this last night, BUT being a dumbass I didnt like the face and decided to redo it. You don't want to see what it looks like now I ruined her, I have to try and go back to this original look, its grown on me.

the problem was, her face in this image is catching the light from the wrong direction, so rather than alter the body i altered the one thing that took me hours to get right :/
