Does anyone know where these images are from?

I saw the images on another site and was wondering if they were ever published. I interested because they appear to be new designs to the Guardians of the Galaxy.

I'm not too sure.

Looks very tech based though. I don't really like the way they look, I prefer the recent Annihilation characters and designs.

I prefer the more recent Annihilation characters as well but am very curious about these images. They look like they are drawn by Marat Mychaels.

I believe those were representations of where the original series was headed, as detailed by Valentino.

They look like descriptions of the the Guardians as last seen, but I didn't read the original series to be sure, though.

I think they all look pretty good except for the Starhawk look. It just strays a little too far from the orginal for my taste. The rest stay pretty close to their previous looks with just a little updating. Only thing I have to wonder is why isn't Aleta in that team shot.

I am curious what the pics are from though. Maybe they might actully be making a comback in the new Guardians series as guest stars for and issue or 2.

I am pretty sure those are from when Valentino pitched the idea of reimagining the GOTG to Marvel. It never got off the ground. He posted them on another site.
