View Full Version : Whatever happened to "The Golden Age: Uncensored?"

I don't know if any of you were familiar with this. It was a website where the owner scanned pages of Golden Age comics and changed the text with laugh-out-loud results. There were so many great moments of Magnus: Robot Fighter attracting negative comments for wearing too short a skirt, spacemen commenting on the phallic nature of their rocket-ships, and even poor Alexander from Star Trek: The Next Generation sulking after the various crew members tell him he looks like a space lobster (granted, this last one was a modern age comic). I used to read it all the time, but the link hasn't worked in ages, and I can't find any indication that it has moved to a new URL.

Edit: I found an archive of some of the old comics, but most appear to be gone: http://web.archive.org/web/20040214030514/http://synchopath.net/wtf/

WARNING -- These comics contain some explicit language and subject matter

I'm sorry, but I felt that the images in the second post were a bit too vulgar to conform with CBR policy, as well as being extremely NSFW.

However, you can still see those images by visiting the link in shaxper's first post.

Sorry about that. I really just posted whichever ones I could find that were still up. I apologize if this was a poor decision. What does NSFW mean?

Ah, yes. That would most certainly be true.

I have this stupid tendency to assume that, if I'm posting late at night in the comfort of my own home, that everyone else will be reading that post late at night in the comfort of their own homes.

Again, my apologies to the board. Feel free to delete the entire thread, if you like.
