From Newsarama, the Fantastic Four by Miller and Hitch:

Looks good. Really good. "It's alway on my pull list" good. Can't wait for this to hit. I'm really liking the art- it does seem a little dirtier, messier than what we got on Ultimates. Thought Sue's face looks a little weird in that box on the first page, and Val seems to have grown up a little. Still, I'm liking it, and it will be nice to get away from the Civil War atmosphere that the title has had.

Thank god Millar doesn't do that "Unca Johnny", "Unca Ben" thing that Loeb seems so tied to. It was cute for a bit when he was supposed to be 5, but he's clearly older than that now.
This may possibly be the first ever FF issue i buy...

Same here...and I really REALLY don't like the Fantastic Four.
Though I believe I've always secretly wanted to somewhere in my black heart.

Awful!
If I hadn't quit collecting already, I would quit this garbage.
The art might be okay somewhere else, but it's not FF
The story is already one of the worst mischaracterizations of the FF I've ever seen.
Total Garbage.
Sorry to vent all over your nice clean thread...

I like the dialog personally. Though Reed's is a touch off. Anyway, it's nice to see them act like themselves again, without crap like Civil War and Reed's plans for the future and WWH hanging over their heads. It should be a fun ride. And I love that the kids are featured in a decently sized role. I'm a sucker for those brats, especially after Waid's run.

Honestly I didn't like it. I liked Millar/Hitch on Ultimates, but this just doesn't sit well with me (UFF was on and off for me).
I didn't like Johnny's look. I didn't like any of the dialogue (save Ben, but he's probably the most straight forward to do). And it felt like a cheap ripoff of an Alan Moore story. Not any story in particular, just stylistically speaking.
Of course, I just read Fantastic Four:1234 the other day, so my standards might be raised momentarily because of that. (easily the best FF story I've ever read).

The preview doesn't really do much for me. I think I'm a bit sick of Millar (and, to a lesser extent, Hitch) at this point.

It looks so good and fun. This could be the next great FF run.

Loved the preview
I am so hanging out for Millar to give us the FF he did in Civil War, where he had Sue and Johnny as a couple. What will he do next? Well, we know Millar will bring up a past wife of Reed Richards. Another time machine trip maybe, to pre-1960's Marvel, and Reed got drunk on Vegas, and found a ring on his fingure? Huh? I think that's it.

Like the dialogue but that face shot of johnny makes him look like a bizarre version of howdy doody with blonde hair.

Meh. I don't read FF4 anyways, and would have preferred Millar to have stayed with the X-Men.

Well, I wasn't looking forward to this at all, the preview doesn't push me either way. The Ultimaty uniforms were expected, the line by Ben paraphrased from the movie just made me worry about what they're basing the characters on,particularly with Millar dumping Alicia for 'Debbie' from the movie, too. Hitch's work looks better than I expected (although as someone pointed out before.. why haven't those bullets left their shells? The cowboys just tossing 'em by hand?)
The whole system that decides to wipe out mankind as the only way to fulfill it's intent is far from original, but there's really only seven comic stories anyway, right? I'll wait and see..

Yeah...what the hell did Bryan do to Johnny's face?
The others are fine and I love Sue's redesign but The Torch just looks weird.

I agree about Johnny's face--don't know what's up with that.
Really? Hmm, I don't care for it too much. But maybe it'll grow on me, who knows?

Someone begun whining as for the comic beign total garbage, despite the preview showing nothing really about the story, and they obviously not reading the issue yet, at post #7.
Damn, I had bet it would be on #5 :( ...
Anyway, looks cool.

The pinned up hair, sleeves and black gloves, I gotta tell you, it's doing it for me.
Sue is a character that could always use a lil more detail.
Granted you can't tell on that page because they're all standing around looking like idiots but I think it's a good look for her.
This may possibly be the first ever FF issue i buy...
You hate families!
I love Hitch women!!!!!! The way he draws em....so supple...tomboyish.....I'll stop now

I've never read a Fantastic Four issue, but I'm thinking about checking out the Millar/Hitch run because Millar mentioned that it would tie in with his run on Wolverine.
Wow, the art really just does not fit in with the FF.

Ugh I'm sorry but I don't like it. I know I am in the minority here but I don't like Bryan Hitch's artwork. I am glad that this might bring more attention to Fantastic Four but really just not a fan of the art. Is it me or does Johnny look like Dick Van Dyke.
I'm going to have nightmares about Human Torch staring at me with that face tonight...
Something is wrong with the art, when Thing is drawn better looking of the two in a given scene

close to a 50:50 split on this it seems...
There wasn't anything about this that grabbed me at all either. I dropped FF after that weird thing with the cosmic rays in space or whatever it was. Or maybe it was after Civil War... it's all running together. That preview's definitely not enough to make me want to pick it up again.
Not impressed. Everythings too throwback for me. The art and the dialogue.
Queseda shoulda stuck too the old formula: "If it ain't broke, keep McDuffie!"
PS: "If it is broke, get rid of Hudlin!" (oops, wrong thread....)
