Now this is going to be a real nostalgia trip for us old Nova brigade and a bit of a eye opener for those new to Nova to relive the rocket's origin way back from 76. Lovely art, nice to see Rhoman Dey, Rich's predecessor as Nova Prime in the "hot-seat" again, the classic costume! Ko-Rel and a very interesting double page spread; maybe the "future" monent that DNA refered to a while ago.
The guy with the "hair" could be Firelord as he's the only living Xandarian left these days..but more intriguing is who is the green skinned Nova Centurion by Ko? And looking at the Earth, I can just make out faint "tech" streaks on it; as Millar and Hitch's FF run have shown a new "artifical earth" under construction could this somehow tie into that particular timeline? And Its great to see Rich will meet Ko though It'll be on the "mindscape" I suspect as seen in NOVA 7. Daz.

Looking at it closely, it kind of looks like the heroes have been Phalanxed (look around Thor and Iron Man's eyes). Maybe he's seeing a future where the Phalanx reach, and take over, the Earth?

You know Doug you could very well be onto something there; just done a close zoom-up and the tele-tale tracery circuit lines are definately there...so lets say the Phalanx invade Earth under Ultron's control and covert every super human to their cause, an army of selects, then that pre-concludes that a new Nova Corps along with the New Guardians are going to be in some kinda cosmic battle/war..if so that'll be, to use an yongun's phrase: AWESOME! Daz.

Whoever it is, it seems pretty clear it's just some kind of nightmare vision or alternate reality or something. Among other things, there's Captain America.
