In AVENGERS FAIRY TALES, the Scarlet Fairy helps Visionochio become a real boy.

Heh heh.

Also: Swarm, Millie the Model, Warlock (the other one), Deadpool Classics Volume One, 48-page Iron Fist, and five comics each from Fred Van Lente and Matt Fraction.

If it weren't for the cancellation of THE ORDER and the beginning of yet another X-Men crossover, this'd be a pretty good month.

Not to mention the beginning of five months worth of "skrull covers.":(

You to think the Eternals would know Herc is a god, not one of them... silly immortals :p. But this is a good month- last issue of Conquest, Nova (with Warlock!), the return of the old Excaliber, Matt Fraction on Thor.. good times.

No Runaways for another month?! *grinds teeth*

I'm just counting the days before Terry Moore and Humberto Ramos take over.

Is it just me, or does the New Warriors solicit sound weird. i mean we went through all these issues how Bandit wanted a team and freaked out when one died till now Bandit putting them against villains they cant handle. Sounds like skrullsville to me.

no JMS Thor? Man, are they trying to kill this book? I wonder what style Zircher is using. Terror INc. or Cable and Deadpoll?

It sucks when you get 1 story in 8-10 months.

They have said the Skrull COvers are only for these first issues. We'll see if that's true.

What were The Order sales numbers?

I tried the first issue. Not very good. New team books with new characters are gonna have trouble.

Edit: One other thing, Chaykin on PWJ means I will never, ever buy it. ANd I love the Jigsaw/Punisher feud. How is he getting work?

Still reeling from my disapointment that The Order has been canned (perhaps Slott & Gage can make sure these characters are not confined to superpowered limbo? They ARE the primere team of the Initative, after all.)

I'm pleased at the sheer number of books that look great this month. and dispite my eagerness for the Secret Invasion chaos to begin (on a side note- who else is thrilled at how few books are tying into the story this month!) the book I'm most looking forward to is Avengers: the Initative. Iron Man's finaly going to smash some heads at camp hammond! It's about freaking time!

Amazing Spider-Man looks cool. Heh, cuz it's snowing and all? Okay... I'll shut up. Nice to see a team-up with Wolverine, it shouldn't take him long to figure out his identity again...

It's weird we're getting a one-shot with Daredevil following on the Balck Tarantula story form the Annual, instead of doing it in the main book.

I'm loving Arthur Suydam's covers for Moon Knight. I quite liked Benson's first issue, and can't wait to see what he has planned for the Black Spectre. I love Moench's villians.

That's an extremely unfair comparison![Incredible Hercules & Roy Thomas's Thor]To break the pattern - I didn't mean the current Hercules thing is generally similar to Thomas's run on Thor from the 70s or 80s or whenever it was, just that they're making the same mistake in this one respect - bringing the Eternals into the MU and mixing them up with Marvel's already confused, not to say nonsensical take on the various deities and pantheons of their beloved "shared universe".

Check this out. Sudyam is now doing skrull covers as variants. It is a stupid idea to tie in if the issue has nothing to do with it but the covers are sweet.

Amazing Spiderman #555, #556, & #557.

Moon Knight #17 - enjoyed the new creative teams first issue.

Captain America #37 - best damn book on the market.

Ultimate Spiderman #121

Ultimate Human #4 (of 4)

Ultimates 3 #5 (of 5)

New Warriors #11 - May drop after #12

Marvel Comics Presents #8 - gonna stick with since its probably gonna get canned afterissue #12

Aside from Daredevil, Iron Fist, and maybe Moon Knight, nothing else on there looks all that impressive to me. Ergh.

Maybe this will be the month I finally get into Captain America.

Dude, the only reason that Blade series was even good was due to the writing.

This is it, kids--the skull–busting, chest–punching, punch–kicking conclusion to THE SEVEN CAPITAL CITIES OF HEAVEN.
