I had to re-read this issue a few times before I really could appreciate it. Hopefully Huntress will be more heavily featured next issue but I absolutely dug her whole drunk tirade about Superman. Funny stuff. After re-reading this one and the prior issue again, I do think the stories going somewhere very interesting and maybe it's possible the Metropolis citizens didn't die after all. Maybe when Misfit's teleported out of the Optima Prime she transported the citizens to another location. Now the question I have is does she know what she did and hasn't told Babs or does she not even realize the magnitude of her powers? It's clear a over-obssessed Babs is starting to think there's a possiblity those people are still alive. It's also clear Misfit is still keeping something from Barbara. I'd like to think whatever happen, even if she did manage to somehow save those people, was done by mistake since I don't believe she is even fully cognitive of the magnitude of her powers. And whatever she's keeping from Babs is about something else. I definitely enjoyed seeing Babs channeling BATMAN when she was training Misfit.
Zinda as a character got really interesting to me. I've liked her in Gail's run but there was nothing EXTRA special about her. The panels with Killer Shark and Zinda were AWESOME. GOOD STUFF from Nicola. It's good to see McKeever tapping into Zinda's past. Sometimes the past is more exciting than something brand new, so I give kudos to him for bringing an antogonist from her past to give her a storyline in BoP title. I'm more curious to where Zinda and Killer Shark's story is going more than anything. Since he once brainwashed her in the past forcing her to turn on her comrades I wonder if he's back to make her his "Queen" again and something will happen that's not in her control and she'll momentarily turn on the Birds? I also wonder how much of her past she actually remembers? I'm looking forward to the next issue. Just more Huntress, please.
