So, the standard idea. You're stuck on a desert island, what would you take with you? I am curious what specific issue, mini-series or one-shot you would want. What could you read and re-read again and again and still enjoy, and why?
For me, it would be the Hellstorm - Son of Satan mini from 2006 by Alexander Irvine. The art is amazing, the story a great blend of mythology and reality, and the action and humour really stands out.

Kraven's last Hunt
Spectacular #189 - 200
Wolverine: Weapon X
Fallen Angel (IDW) #1 - 6
Moon Knight #1 - 13 (current series)
I'd take the Marvel Universe deluxe handbooks.
It's a lot of reading that'll give me something to do on the dessert island. It's obviously not the best reading material, but it'll give me bang for my buck.

Can we take Omnibuses as well? They can double as clubbing weapons for food.

That sounds like a good suggestion. I'd throw in the recent Handbooks as well, since I haven't read through them all.
And maybe being on a desert island would give me the time to make some sort of chronology therein.

Well, any comics I have with me to a desert island will probably end up on top of that signal bonfire on the beach.
So, I'll take the complete print runs of the Heroes Reborn books, One More Day, NFL Superpro, Identity Crisis, Brad Meltzer's JLA, the Ben Raab Excalibur, Chuck Austen's entire CV, everything Geoff Johns and Judd Winick have written since 2003, and the complete Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose.

I would take a lot of books I enjoy, but the majority should be of things I never read.

Secret Wars
possibly The End League, depending on how the series continues. Issue 1 was great.
The Death of Captain America
Captain America 1 shot, the Winter Soldier Winter Kills
The Dark Knight Returns.
If I had to pick only one it would have to be Watchmen.
Earth X
Weapon X

Any comics you bring to a desert island will end up being used to wipe your ass , it's not like an island willl have toilet paper. ;)

or to help start fires
As survivor proved , pretty much most people are clueless how to start fires. Anyway , after wiping their ass , the paper can still be used for fire. :D

I seriously hope I'd have more things in life to take with me to an island aside from comic books! Besides, once you've read them what are you going to do with them? Gasp..use them to start a fire??
