Once the Fuuka Academy sightings begin at Fuuka Academy, Ra's al Ghul gets intelligency reports about it from his worldwide network of data collecting. Ra's is reminded of something he heard about 300 years ago at Japan, something about a 'HiME Festival', and an 'Obsidian Lord', and decides to go see if he can get something useful for his own purposes out of it.
Meanwhile, at Gotham City, the Joker finds some organization known as 'First District' muscling into his turf, for some unknown purpose. After assaulting a base of the FD and gassing everyone there, he learns from a FD operative they are branching out worldwide, preparing for what will come after their efforts have paid off in a 'HiME war' at Japan. Intrigued, Joker decides to go take a trip to see what's going on, since he has a hunch it will be funny.
Finally, shortly after, Batman interrogates the same dying guy at a hospital, and learns about all Joker already knows. Feeling something urgent behind it all, he flies off to Japan as well.
How does this change the MH series?
