Layla is a favorite of mine, but I don't think she is the X-Woman of the year,

All four of these women deserve to be on the list. Laura hasn't been as prominent as the others, but I've enjoyed her attempts to integrate into a teenage human social setting. Kitty also kicked major ass in Torn.

My brain is telling me to go with Layla because she's such an interesting enigma of a character, and funny as hell to boot. But my heart yells for Rogue, because she really shined before being shot in the chest.

Damn, this is a hard one between X-23 and Layla. I'm not a big fan of X-23, but she's had a fairly decent run on NXM.

I'll go with Layla though. Simply because she makes me laugh.

Its pretty much has to be Laura for me. Kitty was meh, and Rogue was out for at least half the year, if not more, so thats an obvious no-go. And I liked X better than Layla, so there.

I only put in the peoples who had the most votes in the nominations thread. In this case, there were 2 people tied. So I had to put both of them in, hence these 4 candidates. :cool:

Layla, easily. Specially considering one of those has gone insane and then comatose and the other was on a book that came out only 3 or 4 times in the year and will die at the end of it.

Yeah, I think the year was better for the male characters.

Layla's the only one comes to mind significantly. The other three are mild contenders who've had a presence, but I don't think I could list their top three 2007 moments off the top of my head.

Well, as said, Carey's done miracles with Rogue, but it's really offset with her laying flat on her back for most of the year. (and not, ya know, in a good way:D )

Well, as Laura is my fave X-Man. Ever. Then, yes it has to be her. But I was torn for a moment, as I'm a big fan of Kitty (stupid Marvel!!) and, snice MC, Layla as grown on me too. Heh.

It's X-23 for me. I remember when many-a-posters were hatting on her when she first arrived on the scene. Now, between the character and Summer Glau those tunes seemed to have changed.
