ok. so a buddy of mine....actually my coworker who I walk around with and have really random conversations with.....decided to start ourselves a small business partnership. At first it started with stupid talk about random crap....then I don't exactly remember how it came up but we started talking about podcasting. because I do listen to a lot of them (When you alk in circles for 8 hours a day you get really bored) So out of nowhere that sort of came up and I says....you know....we should do a podcast.....our conversations would make for some hilarious listening. (I do have a tendancy to say really random shit by the end of a shift (ranting about snausages in a sean connery accent....shit like that) I really said it as a joke and suddenly he says....
That's a good fucking idea....we could easily. but we'd need to start our own business first....huh? I'm confused and he says....well....I'd like to make money if I can.
So I says fuck no. I won't charge for a nerd podcast....I'm not an ass hole. what the hell do you mean start a business.
So he says well, wouldn't you enjoy doing what you do anyway for money? Well hells yeah I says....and thus our Consulting company came to fruition. Advertising, Web Design, editorial gigs, and my favorite....helping schools get in touch with professionals I have some connection to if they wants it. I used to do that anyway....except now.....I could get paid if I wanted too (Not gonna charge schools but oter folks....hellz yeah biotch. we do more but it's kind f cool to know I gots my own business with a business plan with bechmarks and all that shit to meet......sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Oh and yes.....we are also doing a podcast....but I'm still stoked that we're going in to talk about getting some small business credit at the bank and getting this shit up and running by the end of te month.....spur of the moment decisions kick ass......I hope.
Right now I'm pretty jazzed about it...but I know at the same time it was probably completely fucking retarded. ah well. time to learn sme responsibility and hopefully get something succesfull going.
