I got the first part of Tub Club today...
Pretty damn good start to what promises to be a killer story.
The art is done by some chick.. and the chicks art is damn good.
Cassie looks good in a mask..
Vlad and jealousy are amusing..
Cassie chattin' it girl style is cute..
Oh and the girl on girl action.. precious..
Nice shot at Marilyn Manson..
Vlad and Cassie picking apples.. cute..
Kind of amusing when the most make believe part in horror comic involves a white girl picking fruit for money.. :)
Anywho.. those who haven't picked it up yet..
Go get it..
Beats the hell out of that Buffy comic out there.. far more amusing. Besides.. vampires are soo 1996..
Part 2 is due out on the 23rd of this month..

All the Hack/Slash's are worth reading.
I tend to go for general super-hero comics, but Hack/Slash is on my pull list at the shop.

Good.. good.. very good..
Someone once asked me why I care what others read or listen to..
And I was like.. dude.. if the music I listen to and the books I read aren't appreciated by others, I'll no longer have the new music to listen to and new books to read.
Besides.. I want Hack/Slash underoos.. and popularity can make that happen..

I'm enjoying Hack/Slash a lot. Compared to much of what I read, H/S is interestingly different in that it prioritises the page space given to the subplots, all the running character stories. The 'A-stories', with the monsters, are almost relegated to second place - which I don't mean as a criticism at all, it gives the title a much stronger sense of continuity, and the sense that it's happening in a moving world, rather than everything beyond the core cast existing simply as antagonists for them to fight.

Good title, better written than a lot of the mainstream super-hero titles these days, though that's not difficult to do.
Intrigued to see what the movie is like.

Finally got mine. Very nice indeed. The character moments with Cass and Vlad are always very well done.
And mmmm. Girls kissing in a hot tub. Always a bonus.

Is Tub Club a mini or an arc on the main series?

Let's hope she does better as a lesbian character than she would with Marvel or DC.

To answer your question..
Tub Club is a story arc in the main series. It also seems to hint at more of a character expansion which will give the series an even bigger world in which to work from. The series is really evolving in a good way, this really the best time to jump in if you haven't already.
As for the lesbian angle, I don't see H/S pandering to daycare fodder, so it should be handled perfectly..

I agree with you their, if you want a better representation of the lesbian/gay, whatever angle your better off looking outside the big two publishers.
