Anyone buy the Onslaught Complete Epic TP? I did through DCBS, so it was sight unseen. All I can say is don't. Complete freaking rip off. Not the story mind you but the cost. $30 for 11 issues, very thin paper. By comparison, the Ultimate 2 hardcover cost $35 and was about 5 times as thick. I got a discount but sheesh, what is up with the occasional price gouging on TP lately? DC was doing it for a while with randomly charging $25 for stuff that was only 5-6 issues each and now Marvel? Are they trying to kill their market because no one is going to go into a book store and drop $30 for such a thing and all its going to do is what it did with me - anger me that they think I am a fool. Either way, at $30 each (apparently) I am passing on the rest due to the epic price for the epic story.

You were buying the "Onslaught the Complete Epic" trade. What are they supposed to think?

For a hardcover trade 30 dollars for 11 issues isn't a bad deal. That said the story sucked and all the massive ramifications of that story have been retconed out of the Marvel Universe.

Paying 3 cents for that mess would be a rip-off. But yeah, Hardcovers tend to cost more than Trades.
