In this candid interview, IDW publisher and Editor-in-Chief Chris Ryall talks to CBR News about new projects and the company’s biggest year yet, and how they’re planning to top that in 2008.

Good interview, but I was hoping to hear more about the new children's book line. I am really interested in doing something about it on my own site, but I am afraid that the initial buzz will die down now that it is clear that this is a children's book publishing venture, not a kids comic one.

Re: The idea of reprinting Collins & Beatty's Ms. Tree series.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! I would buy that in a heartbeat.
I hope we see new volumes of Grimjack and Jon Sable soon, and I also keep hoping Maze Agency gets another shot. I can't believe something with ADAM HUGHES on art sold so poorly...
No mention of the new Gold Eagle titles like Rogue Angel and Executioner, but I'm definitely looking forward to those too. And if IDW ever releases an Outlanders comic, I will love them forever...

I'm quite excited about the new Star Trek comics due out this year. Am especially looking forward to a New Frontier series of minis. One question that wasn't asked/answered was has IDW canceled the CSI line of comics? Nothing new has been offered in about a year & the CSI thread has been removed from the forum. I can understand if they didn't sell well, but no one says I have to like it. :evilsmile
