Kinda pissed about this whole New Warriors crap. I was introduced to X-Men by the old cartoon from the 90's. Jubille and I go way back as she was my very first X-Man. Then she just got put through the wringer.
Stacy X... I fell out of comics when she cam on board but when I cam e back and started reading her issues, I LOVED her. A new and original concept for a superhero! Then she was abused and disbanded. Turned to a depowered crack whore (thanks M-Day), and now has a shitty version of Omega Red's abilities.
Chamber or Decibel or whatever. Not even going to get started.
Those who dropped off the map have been given crappy new powers.
Then of course there are the unaccounted who still HAVE powers. Lifegaurd (half Shi'ar, perfect chance to introduce her back during all these Shi'ar space arc's as she IS of royal lineage). Thunderbird III. Cecelia Reyes. Husk. Northstar has fallen off the boat again too, damn it.
Hell, can we just have a mini where Cyclops decides to have a very small team just travel the world to check up on their old allies to make sure they're okay at least. It would at minimum, give updates on old limbo'ed characters. Just have the Cuckoos find them, then send one or two X-Men to drop by and check things out. Everyone's old favorites get some screen time and we get to see what they've been up too.

Just because you don't like New Warriors, doesn't mean that everyone doesn't.
The X-Men are the ones who kicked all the depowered mutants to the curb, mostly due in no small part to Emma. So why should they suddenly decide to go look up all those people they didn't give two craps about a few months ago? Especially Jubilee and Chamber, who basically got dumped at desperate times.
Not to mention, a lot of those characters you mentioned nobody is interested in using. Hell, Mike Carey said he would have brought Cecelia Reyes back during Endangered Species. But nobody in the X-Office was interested in using her. So it would be pointless to do so. Likewise, Northstar was/is under embargo by another office.

So, he has a lot in common with your average comic book fans?

I have to admit, I mean even WOLVERINE searched for Jubilee once he saw her on television. :(
Man are the X-men egoistic pricks or is it just Emma Frost ? :(

I think people overstate Emma's role in things... she was certainly the driving factor behind getting Dani thrown out, but that was more personal vendetta than anything. Outside that, I'm not sure where people get her being the mastermind behind the decimated exodus... if anything, Scott seemed to be front and center just as much as Emma in all those decisions (students, Chamber, Polaris, etc).

But even her throwing Dani out was waaay too harsh in my mind. Ok so she doesnt have powers Dani has proven more useful in the past without using her powers than most of the x-men. To throw her out on a personal strike is messed up and someone should have called emma on it.
to the original point i think it would actually be good if someone would go out and check on the depowered mutants. Lots of these guys were supposedly close friends but now that they dont have powers the xmen just forget about them wtf? I feel the most for jubilee, she didnt really have anyone outside the xmen and they just let her go without so much as a dont call us we'll call you... its lame
