I stopped reading comics about 4 years ago, but there are alot of really good series that have came out in the last couple of years that I'm dying to read. I just simply don't have the time to read that many comics (infinite crisis, marvel zombies, house of m, civil war, etc), but I'd like to do what I can. I do alot of driving and was excited to hear the infinite crisis was novelized and then a company called GraphicAudio turned the novel into a audiobook, complete with actors and everything.

my question is, should I wait and read the comics when I can or is the audiobook decent enough to get the full effect?

I thought they capture the feel of the story very well.
Decent special FX and music.
Voice actors were good.
Overall I would give this a solid 'B'.

They have also come with "52" vol #1.
Haven't listen to that because I am waiting for vol
#2 which comes out in Feb.

Audio versions, like the prose novels, are abridged. Infinite Crisis loses Villians United mini series. 52 loses an outerspace saga, Doc Magnus, Ralph and the Helmet of Fate as well as great cameos by Georgia and Junior Sivana.

In my opinion, it is more than worthwhile to get the tpbs and the audios.
